Chapter 111: Abused to Death

The dozen or so warships attacking Red Rock Base were of varying shapes and sizes, and so was their equipment. Gauss cannons, laser cannons, missiles, blasters... Different types of weapons were assaulting the base's energy shields with seemingly no rules or directions to follow.

Their formation was incredibly weird as well; normally, the main assault ships should be in the front because they would be the best at breaking down the defense and absorbing enemy firepower to protect smaller allied ships.

In contrast, these guys had their ships arranged in line like soldiers at a gun practice.

Any experienced commander would never use a formation such as this, for not only would it spread their firepower, it would expose the ships with weaker defense to enemy fire, essentially giving the enemies free fire at their allies.
