Synopsis
Monster Hunter, League of Legends, PUBG… Crafting cosplay props and creation videos appeared to be a good way for Lin Yu to earn some extra cash in college while slacking away from his studies. Despite that, the world seems to have other plans for him. After a series of random accidents that happened around him, he discovers his newfound power: the ability to upgrade his props into their actual inspirations through his videos!

It's a 'rejuvenation of Qi and space cracks appearing' kind of story where MC has gotten a cheat but he doesn't have any 'dark energy' (Qi) so it's not sure if MC's cheat is due to his awakening or he hasn't awakened yet and can have a new power. About his cheat, he can upgrade items through EXP obtained through the popularity/belief of the said item, but he isn't only able to upgrade item, he could also make an upgradable app to the point it became a 'system'-like. This mean he could potentially make strengthening item like a Devil Fruit if he upgraded one that he made enough times, it might get the actual effects of one.

This is one of the only few good novels on trial read right now and if the other ****ty ones can get passed why wouldn’t this one... is what I thought but based on how ****ty the choices are that get sent to be voted on are recently and all the good novels that got buried this is most likely gonna follow their footsteps. It’s super sad, why don’t they put the good stuff up? They would get more money the more popular a novel is, I just don’t get what they’re thinking.

After reading few chapters i felt like " i dont like where this going? I hate his power and the way for enhancing.maybe i should read few more chapters before stop reading" I even commented negatively. After reading first 60 chapters, I like this story and where it is going. No op mc, improve his skill step by step. Fun to read. Any way it is good book.you guys try too. (Not a typical cn super power/ system novel, normal mc, no face slap, no harrem)
This is undoubtedly the best book out of the 8 batch. I am very suprised to see almost no ******** nationalism despite it being urban genred!!! No racism!!!(Amazing right?) Plus, this novel starts out good and only continues to get better! I need more updates!!!!! Plenty of humour as well. I NEEEEDDDD MOOOARRRR!!!!!!!!!!
I actually really enjoyed reading this. There’s a bit of a lull when he’s making the Academic Genius System a reality but the ending of chapter 60 omg. Makes me want more. It’s got such an interesting premise that I can’t wait to see how far it’ll go. Perhaps normal people will now be the ones become extinct?

The stories goes incredibly slow. The author try to be original at times and fail. You can also clearly see the mark of a Chinese author. The comedy is so low that it just makes me want to skip it. 20 chapters of content could be shrink into just 5, this author seems to like to fill the world count. Translation has some errors but it's fine. MC's think that as a 'good' son he should show his parents his secrets powers, why? Because thats what a good son does, no? NO. Luckly his father also has a power so it goes off smoothly.. (plot armor *cough*) MC seems to be the type that can't keep a secret for his own good, even when telling his parents wasnt necessary in any possible way. World background? It's Earth and that is it. He seemed to have gone from a small youtuber to a god of video quality that can make incredible skit out of nowhere. Where did he got the talent and practice to become so good? Idk. Average chinese story, nothing impressive. A little boring.

This is one of those hidden gems you stumble across and then gobble down as fast as you can. Lin Yu is a poor college kid making some side cash by posting cosplay crafting videos online. You know almost from the start that something is happening in the shadows, but it's not until the MC and his friends experience an incident that the story starts taking a fun turn. Couple that with the MC's equipment leveling skill and his dad's super power, and this just turns into sheer enjoyment. Especially since the MC's talent is invisible to the 'dark power' detectors...
Really an enjoyable read. (First 60 chapters) - No super OP instantly. Check - MC is not a simp. Check - interesting power. Check That is enough for me :)
This review is based on the free chapters. Originally in the first few chapters, it only seemed okay and I was even a little bored and wanting to drop it. But, being bored, I continued onward and have finished the free chapters, and I have to say, it's actually quite interesting! It's much different than the usual novels out there, although maybe a little unrealistic with some parts (I won't mention), but it's not too bad and can be overlooked in general. And the setting is very interesting, I actually very much like the upgradeable equipment concept and how the MC takes it apart and reassembles it and learns about the technology to explain in his videos. In general, I think this is very promising and it's definitely the first trial novel in a while that I am very much hoping gets picked up! Praying that the editors aren't blind again and overlook this gem like so many others.

Overall good novel. There are some points in the story early on that are kinda questionable (concerning MCs intelligence). But later on the he seems to develop a good bit. Definitely looking forward to more.
A story that seems to have a lot of potential. A unique and yet familiar story type that is getting carried by the unique ability of the mc as well as a little bit of world development as the unique powers are just on the horizon. Hope that this one gets picked.
