Chapter 8: B.M.M & Half Blind (Near Final Chapter)
(Andrew)
"Where did you get that voice jar?" Andrew asks.
"I got it from the black magic market," Samantha replies.
"Huh?" Andrew confused.
"Of course. You don't know. You're a sword-bearer, sword bearers are useless when it comes to magic. A black magic market is a place that illegal magic gets sold to. you can basically find anything illegal there," Samantha explains.
"So where can I find a Black magic market?" Andrew asks
"There are multiple places but the one closest to here is the one at the Harrendail Kingdom," says Samantha while putting the jar back into her bag.
"That's where I'm headed, lucky I don't need to turn in the opposite direction to find the BMM (Black Magic Market)," Andrew wiping his forehead from relief.
"So are we done here? if we are, then DIE!" Samantha shouts as she throws an acid potion towards Andrew.
"What?!" Andrew shouts as one of his eyes gets burnt from the acid.
"Hehehe," Samantha chuckles.
"ARRRGGG!" Andrew shouts in pain.
(Becky)
The Cyclops has collapsed and Becky and the others have come out victorious.
"Ok now onto Andrew. Where is Andrew?" Becky asks.
"I don't know. The only thing I know is that a dash of lighting went across the field while I & the Cyclops were fighting," Cruiser explains.
"Jezzzzzz... Why did you have to take off like that?" Clair asks Cruiser while healing him.
"Sorry, Princess Clair. I won't do a stunt like that ever again," Cruiser apologizes.
Clair and Cruiser start looking at each other and blushing.
"Awkward..." Evan whispers, breaking the romance tension in the air.
"What? Be quiet Evan! What's awkward. Nothing happened and nothing was happening," Clair nervously stuttering nonsense.
"Uh..." says Cruiser.
They both (Clair and Cruiser) Look in the opposite directions of each other.
"Anyway, which direction did you see that dash of lighting headed," Becky asks.
"I saw it going that way," Cruiser replies while pointing more in the forest.
While the team was patching themselves up, they hear a loud yell coming from the same direction of light was headed.
ARRRGGG!
"Huh!?" everyone rushes towards the loud noise. When there, they (Clair, Becky, Cruiser & Evan) see Andrew on the floor with his hand covering one of his eyes.
"What have you done!?" Becky shouts aggressively.
"Nothing much. Just accidentally, but accurately spilled magic acid on his (Andrew) eye, making one of his eyes blind forever, Even healing magic can't heal it. HEHEHE!" Samantha chuckles as she takes her to leave by casting smoke everywhere and then disappearing into thin air.
"You! get back here NOW!" Becky shouting at nothing.
"I think she's far gone from here. Her teleportation spell was pretty grand, she could be anywhere within here to the Harrendail Kingdom," Evan explains.
Andrew rips a part of the clothing from his T-shirt and wraps it over his burnt eye and ties it behind his head.
"How could I be a fool? how could I just let her surprise me like that," says Andrew while sitting on the ground with his head in his arms?
"Hey. Don't be so worked up. You still have us (Clair, Evan & Cruiser) with you, so if you need someone to fall on you got us, ok?" Becky cheering up Andrew.
Andrew looks up towards Becky & the other behind her.
"Yes not all have lost, it's just my eye & plus, I know where I should look when we get to that kingdom that is taking forever to get to. HAHA HAHA!" Andrew laughs, regaining his attitude.
Becky pulls Andrew up onto his feet.
"Welcome back ma dude," says Evan patting Andrews back.
"Same here," says Cruiser.
Andrew looks at Clair.
"Fine. Whatever they said," says Clair.
"Ok let's head out," says Andrew, as he and the others head closer, towards the Harrendail Kingdom.
[Walkway]
After a long journey back towards the footpath that they left off, they begin traveling again, getting more closer to the kingdom.
"Do you know how much distance we could've got? if somebody (Cruiser) didn't blundered into some random forest," Clair hinting towards Cruiser.
"I get it. I'm sorry and won't do it again," Cruiser apologizes.
"Well, no time for squabbles. We can't change the past, but we can focus on the present, and the present is us trying to gain much distance by lost time," Andrew explaining the goal, harshly.
"Ok Mr bossy (Andrew)," Clair replies with an attitude.
"See that's the attitude I'm talking about," says Andrew.
"What attitude?" Clair says sarcastically.
"Stop mucking around," orders Becky.
"Wait, me? I didn't do anything," Andrew explains.
"Yes! we have been walking for hours, our legs are tired and to make it worst I have to listen to you two complain, just be quiet," Becky loudly explains the reason why she's mad.
"Wow! so grumpy. Amirite," Andrew looking at his party.
"No one here is in the mood," Evan explains.
"Well. I did tell you, if you want to join me, you have to keep up with me," says Andrew.
Andrew looks at his party (Becky, Clair, Evan & Cruiser), they all have wobbly legs, sweaty clothes, and they all smell. Andrew stops and takes a look around and spots a creek, In that moment Andrew makes a decision.
"Ok. Break time. Everyone let's have a break here. There's a creek beyond the bushes. Girls go first and after men. go wash up, yo stinkiness. Shoo, shoo," Andrew brushing them away with his hand.
