What is going on?
It has been three years since the zombie breakout. It was nothing like in movies. They were slow but strong. All we could do was run away from it as we had very few options to fight back against them. One thing that was similar to the movies was that 80 percent of the humanity vanished or to be precise turned. The remaining survivors managed to kill half of them but it was not easy as we too had lost many of our loved ones. As days passed the unturned started fighting among themselves for food and secretly cannibalism was practised by a few. They formed a cult and started hunting people, so the remaining few had to fight not only the turned but also the cult for survival. The world was not what it used to be anymore. Death was better than living. But we still chose to live.

What is going on? Did I travel back in time? That is crazy. Is something like this even possible? I travelled back seven years exactly where everything started. Maybe this is a second chance given to me by God to stop everything from happening, be it the apocalypse or the chaos I made which led to my bestie's breakup.
I really screwed up there.If I remember correctly it happens in three days from today. The day I proposed Jace which made Jane misunderstand that we were cheating behind her back. Well it was not entirely my fault as I was totally unaware of their relationship. That stupid girl hid it really well and played me.
I should be hating her for what she did but I understand that she didn't mean to do things this way. I always knew how much she loved me and that there was always a part of her that felt inferior to me. "I am sorry that I didn't notice it even though I am your best friend ". The first thing that I should do is to stop this from happening because I lost Jane forever. That foolish girl thought that she stole Jace from me and ended her life. I could still hear the desperate screams of Jace asking her to Come back to life. I am sorry Jace my first love , I will let you go now.
I finally understood that you treasured me as ur childhood friend and loved her(Jane) as ur life. This time I'll make sure that you two get to live happily before that fated day ruins everyone's life.
Sorting out my thoughts I immediately gave Jane a call. The call went through and Jane picked up the call. "Hello baby girl! what happend for you to wake up this early and make a call? Is everything alright there?". Hearing her melodious voice after a long time I couldn't hold my tears back. I asked her to meet me in our favourite spot at 1 pm.
After arranging the meeting with her I made a call to Flaviya my soul sister who understands me like the back of her hand and asked her to come to my home immediately. She came within 15 minutes as she lives in the street next to ours.
I briefly explained her on how I travelled back in time and all the other crazy stuff that is about to happen in the near future. At first she found it hard to believe but on seeing how serious I was she decided to believe for now.
I started an hour early from my home to our meeting spot after chatting a bit longer with Vi( Flaviya) since i had a lot going through my mind and i had to sort it out before meeting with Jane. I really can't contain my happiness that I am going to meet her again after that doomed day. I always regretted my actions even though it was not intentional. Afterall I was unaware of their mutual love and proposed him like a fool. Jace blamed me for her death. I lost two of my best friends that day.
