When they reached the hotel, he helped her to go to her room. Where is your room key? she opened her pouch and take out her room card and scan it to open the door. She pushed the door open and said thank you! but Frederick hold her shoulder and let her face him.
Dont forget what you promised me he said gently carressing her check with his thumb.
Mich nod her head without thinking what promised is he talking about.
He looked at her face,trying hard to resist the temptation to kissed her but it was futile. This is the first time he lost control of himself, only in front of this woman. He bend down kissed her gently at first and get deeper and he end up hungrily kissed her and pulled himslelf to stop before he completely lost his self control.
Mich shook her head a few times and she sobbered a little, she looked at him and asked angrily;why did you kissed me? she pushed him and slammed the door without waiting for his asnwer. But she was so tired and drunk that she really didnt think about the kiss. she just throw her self on the bed and hide under the quilt and doze off.
She woke up with a splitting headache the next day .She groaned massaging her temple. she got out of bed and drink a lot of water and open the drawer and take paracetamol before heading to the shower.She stayed a long time in the shower to ease her headache. She felt much better after the shower,got dressed and put on a light make up and headed dowstairs for breakfast.
She was looking for a vacant table when Frederick called her and offered to sit on his table.He smiled and greet her.
Good morning! did you sleep well?
Morning! yeah,not bad. I will get some food first she said massaging her temple.
Mich just get black coffee and a croissant. She is not really in the mood to eat because of her headache.
Is that all you want to eat? Freferick asked
Yeah, i dont really feel like eating. Just a coffee is enough for me.
You have a hangover?
yes, but it will be okay after i drink black coffee.
Here,Frederick give her a strip of hangover tablet. Take it after breakfast and it will make you feel better.
ohhh, thank you.
Are you going to attend the bidding after breakfast?Frederick inquired.
Mich nod her head sipping on her coffee.
Great! we can go together, I am going there too.
Mich just nod her head again,she dont really feel like talking.
Eat your croissant,so you can take the medicine frederick urge her.
But,i already took a paracetamol.
Its okay, it doesnt matter, frederick assured.
Well,its true! just after a few minutes she took the medicine her headache is gone and she feel much better.
Wow!your medicine is so effective. thank you!
Thats great, frederick said and smiled.
Last night he knew that she will have a hangover when she wake up.So he called his friend to give him this medicine. He have a doctor friend that is based in Korea,and its him who developed this hangover medicine. And its not true that he dont know Korea it was just his alibi so,he can spend time with her.
Frederick pushed the door open of the bidding room ang hold it for Mich to come in first and followed her.They sitted at the same seat as yesterday.
The tension in the room was getting heavier as the bidding is going to end soon. And two companies left competing, which is gachallian and Hans group of companies. And Mich was like sitting on pins and needles. Her confidence wavered because the gachallian's bidding plan was not inferior to hers. She take a deep breath ang close her eyes to calm her self. And the bidding host announce that Hans group of companies is the winner.
Mich opened her eyes,close and open it again clasping her hands together with a obvious excitement and happiness on her face.
Sister!We got it! jeung-wu said excitedly and hug her tight. you're the best sister! Dad will be ecstatic if he heard this. He said proudly.
They didnt noticed the gloomy face of abperson behind them. Frederick can't believe that he was defeated by a woman. He is happy for her but he can't absorbed this outcome easily.He stood up and went out of the room. He leaned on the wall and took a deep breath,shook his head and smiled. He was happy and proud of her. But for a Cold and proud person like him, its a little difficult to accept defeat.
When Mich and Jeung-wu get out of the room they saw frederick sitting on the lounge.
Hey!Frederick! jeung-wu called him
He looked at them and congratulate them.
Thank you! but it was all sister 's Mich effort all i did is accompany her here.
Great!she is awsome!and she is my girl, he said and mumbled the last sentence to himself.
