Chapter 21: Rehersals
We arrived at the auditorium at 10:20. We both kind of just stood in front awkwardly, not knowing if we should go in or not. I scratched my neck and turned to Liyah who also turned to me.
"We should-"

We both started to talk at the same time. Freezing we burst out laughing. She then flung her arm around my shoulders and we walked into the auditorium. As we walked in, the auditorium was mostly the same as last time. On the stage they were what seemed to be few students and teachers from different academies. "Hello!" A sudden voice spoke from behind us. Jumping I turned around, in front of us was a boy and girl that looked a little older than us. The girl had blackish purple shoulder length hair and brown eyes. The boy to the right had blonde hair and green eyes. "Oh I'm sorry if we scared my name is Kelsey Lackros, I'm the second year representative of the medical department." the girl introduced herself. "And this is Jackson Lottie, he's the second year rep for the Knight's department." Turning over to the boy he saluted with a playful smile.
"Oh hello senior Lackros and senior Lottie, My name is Lydia Raven. I will be the first year representative for the Mage department." I revealed smiling. "And I'm Aliyah Crafter, I was in the top 3 amongst the first years in the medical department." Liyah followed and also introduced herself. "You must be here for rehearsals, We'll take you where you need to go." Kelsey said as they led us over towards. "Please talk with us comfortably," Jackson turned back and insisted. "Sure" Liyah and I chirped.
We walked up to the stage and Kelsey and Jackson told us to wait until the rehearsal starts. The people on the stage seemed to be a mix of students from different years. There were also a few teachers talking to them. A few more people entered the auditorium while we were waiting but I didn't really pay attention, because I was busy chatting with Liyah.
"Okay it's about time for us to start the rehearsals for the ceremony."
I turned to the front and saw the person where the voice came from. The room quieted down and everyone's attention was on her. "I'm director Hal, I'm in charge of events around the school. First let's put everyone into groups. Let's start with the first year reps." she then started to call out names. When she called my name I also went towards the designated area. "Hi, I'm Rachel. The rep from the medical department" one of the girls introduced herself. "Hey, my name is Lydia. I'm from the mage department" I responded. There was also Luke from diplomat and Kayden from culinary. "I'm Conner from the knight department," the last guy said. I glanced at him and my eyes widened. There was something about his mana that was different then any other I've sensed. Conner then also turned to me and looked at me. His face turned into surprise then fear. Immediately he turned away and took a step away from me. "Okay, so first lets go over the ceremony. There will be 5 parts to the ceremony, the first part is a welcoming by the headmistress. The second part will be a speech by the 5th years. The third part is a talk about the upcoming year by the second years. Next, there will be the award ceremony where the first year reps and honor students are recognized. Lastly there will be a good luck speech by the headmaster." Director Hal explained. She then continued to explain where each of the students would sit in the front row and how and when each of us would be called up. She went on about what we would be doing on the stage. "Okay let's walk through this"

"That'll be all" Director Hal finished. Finally, I can leave. "Ly ly, let's go back" Liyah ran up from behind me. Nodding I followed her as we stepped down from the stage. Throwing a glance behind my back, my eyes found Conner. Why is his mana different? He turned around and also looked at me. "Hurry up!" Liyah yelled, turning me around to run after her.
