A killing intent seed has been planted!
This sounds rather threatening, but it's a helpful thing that will increase the growth of Vayve as a MC! This was clear just from reading the description provided by the system alone.
[A killing intent seed: - Everything has its own origin. A killing intent's origin is yet unknown to you, but this seed is an origin of the killing intent which can open up a path towards XXXXXX. Be careful as you raise it.]
Vayve was in the tavern with his maid. She went to clean herself after getting an approval from her young master. And as he had that time all for himself, Vayve slowly began reading about that killing intent seed.
'The origin of this world... It's a chaotic world consisted of many fictional stories that became a reality, but the creator has added something from himself, huh...'
His own stories didn't have that deep setting. Of course, Vayve's MCs had a background and unique powers enough to get them strong really fast, but such deep setting was not existent. Those were a stories that needed a quick problems and bountiful rewards.
Maybe other fictional stories were as such and the deep setting was created by the creator itself!
It would be not fair if someone from the earth had created such deep setting, so Vayve assumed it's either a creator or just a needed setting born out from the 'chaotic world creation'.
'It wouldn't be fair at all.'
Then, Vayve let out a sudden laugh. Wasn't he coaxing a people using this very 'fairness'? If they had no luck and were left all for themselves, so why wouldn't he and other earthlings who got reincarnated in this world as potential 'MCs' face such thing as well?
If there was someone who went with a deep setting and got a liking from the creator, then such person is one hell lucky man.
Anyway, Vayve had also something else to look it.
It was a 'blood coin' or at least something similar to it. The blood coin was so deep red it was as if an old blood, but Vayve had a strange feeling it's one of a recent 'creations'. Whether it's a new or not, the thing was that it had piqued his instincts.
Though Vayve was someone who couldn't really work well with his intincts as he had not enough time to hone his own, the blood coin within his palm was as if screaming with an importance. He could tell it at least.
So it was a valuable piece that might work well with his future money magic system.
The future because Vayve didn't plan to use this coin at all. Not only he didn't have enough power to call back the coins in order to use them repetitively, Vayve also found out that a coin that had the most of his magic became no longer useable for him.
It was a mere coin from that point onward.
As if its form couldn't take any magic!
'A lot room for growth means a bright future. Now, I should sleep.'
And so, Vayve wrapped his small body with a blanket, then went asleep. His maid later also left a bathroom and slowly entered the same bed as her young master bought only a one room to spare himself from wasting any money.
She laid herself next to him, then after enough staring, the maid went asleep too.
-
When Vayve went to a dreamland, his mind couldn't really rest.
It wasn't because he was thinking too much! After all, he just went asleep and could tell it... So the reason for him not being able to rest at all was because his 'soul' appeared in an unknown place. Though it wasn't really hard to tell where he had landed.
"It should be somewhere within me... The magic is flowing within everyone's body, and becoming a mage means strenghtening and raising that flow."
If someone wants to become someone else, for an example - a knight, then one must change that magic into a sword intent. Of course, there are races that are born with something else than magic and so they are fated to follow a certain path.
Naturally, it all depends on a race.
Nevertheless, as a human from The Waleria Kingdom, Vayve had that magic born naturally within his body.
The sword intent from his father side has long turned into a pure magic too as his mother took Vayve to her clumsy magic lessons... The origins of his father's sword intent were that of a magic turned into a sword intent, so it was easy for Vayve's body to adapt.
But it wasn't because of a magic or sword intent that Vayve knew he is somwhere within his body.
It was because of something looking akin to a seed. It was deeply buried within an unknown grounds, softly poking outside. There were a lot of veings around it, but it was seed for sure.
"It's either my heart or something else. Maybe a brain?"
If it's a brain, then it's a little pitiful as it was too empty here.
Vayve mumbled mindlessly, then approached that seed. He squated in front of it, then softly touched, but nothing happened. Everything was the same as before! Of course, Vayve wasn't really willing to dig it out or something like that.
The 'system' had planted it within him, so it should be like that.
The question was simple - how to raise it?
"I got an access to this place, so this is a main question now... Hmmm..."
A killing intent grows by killing, that's rather obvious. But does that mean a killing is enough to raise it? Or does he have to bring a blood as nutrient? How does one bring a blood here anyway?
"Drinking?"
Vayve tilted his head as he began pondering about this seed. Just like that, a night passed and he 'woke up' a moments later... It was as if he didn't sleep at all and only seen that 'black screen' for a little more than a second yet Vayve was all well-rested!
That's a beauty of the magic!
