Chapter 29: Neighbor Upstairs
"Thank God that the neighbor upstairs is not at it again!"
Deb Oh was in a better mood as the thought crossed her mind that the obnoxious noise that usually came from her neighbor upstairs was nowhere to be found. She was stretched out in a black tank top and blue underwear.
Deb Oh would become very cranky and concentrated less when the noise became unbearable for her keen senses. To her it felt as though the person was right inside her head making all the ruckus.
"God! I can't stand whoever it is that just loves to stamp their feet all over the place like they own the whole freaking apartment complex!"
Deb Oh had fantasized on the day that she would move out of her monthly $699 apartment rental, enrolling in a nursing school was the main reason why she sought out an apartment unit in an area that she would never have looked twice at.
Deb Oh could not save much as she had to pay her monthly rent, school expenses and other living costs all from her weekend nursing job. Weekday was dedicated to studying and keeping a clear head, the pressure from the heavy curriculum prompted Deb Oh to work 2 days a week and each time she was left in agonizing pain and misery.
