Chapter 45: Impenetrable Defense
The ice hit the shadow,but it bounced right off and shattered as soon as it hit. Deku was surprised,to say the least. And so was Todoroki. The Shadow turned around,revealing him. He looked no older than 24, in fact. He was around Chisaki's age. He had rough and scraggy black hair,and a blue jacket with black pants. The room was filled with tension. Long,red drapes hung from the ceiling,blocking the window. The floor was wooden,and Deku had to try his best not to slip on the wooden floor. The room was dark,and only two torches were able to light it up. Although,even with all those facts,the biggest of all was that the room,and the house itself,was MASSIVE. The boy started walking towards them. "Portal punch.",said the villain. Deku started inferring what his quirk could be about. He finally had come up with it after watching Todoroki fight with the boy for a bit. The boy's power was that he could transport his body through portals,and his enemies body parts and body through parts,basically leading them wherever he wants. Portals. Basic and simple portals. Deku jumped towards the villain. The air was thick with bloodlust,and anger. Fury...regret....misery....it all mixed together to make a foul feeling in
the room. Deku felt the feeling,and by the look of Todoroki's scared face,he could tell Todoroki felt it too. Deku threw his fist towards the boy,but he had already been put through a portal, and was aiming straight for himself! Deku fist landed in his face. "FAKE-OUTS!!",Deku thought. He jumped towards the boy so he could show Todoroki what to do. Deku pretended he was going to kick the boy,so the boy obviously put up a portal. Deku dodged the portal, and started nearing the boy. He was doing the fake outs for every portal the boy made. "SMASSSH!!",Deku yelled. He socked the boy right in the face,launching him across the room. The boy tumbled and fumbled,losing his balance every time he tried to stop falling. He finally crashed onto the wall,and Deku started to relax. The air was still killing him,but he regretted nothing. Todoroki quickly put up and ice wall,and Deku ran around it right as it was forming. Deku and the boy were now alone. He punched the boy repeatedly in the stomach. The boy was coughing over and over,taking each blow willingly. Deku was scared. What was he planning? Deku finally kicked him so hard that the boy flew through the building. The boy suddenly stopped in midair,and started forming into something. Something vile..gross...and pure evil. The souls of others had been fused with him,making....the Misery Magister....
