Chapter 11: Cap 11 - Mage

That night Tristan had never made it as long as his own, the Arcadia Academy of Wizards has sumptuous and grand hallways. The floor was of black stones and the walls of dark gray stones, along the corridors there were pictures of great magicians with their eyes always brutish and by the lake of the great long pictures written about the deeds and achievements of these magicians. One of the paintings was of the current supreme magician, he was only ninety-three years old and had already done so much.

The youth of the supreme magician was much debated, but his strength could not be questioned, he possessed much power. For beings who have achieved a great deal of power, time runs differently; magicians, warriors, and necromancers have their lifespan extended by this power ... The supreme magicians have bright eyes when they reach the sacred level, in which it is not certain how much power it can have. A sacred level magician like the supreme magician who is ninety-three years old has the body and cellular constitution of a person only thirty-five years old.

Tristan is very inspired by the current supreme magician because he knows that he was the one who brought him to the academy. He had discovered this apparent secret years ago when he was just a child, as he liked to sneak through the gym's ventilation system. Two magicians were arguing about various subjects until one spoke about the rise of the new supreme magician and about the curious fact that he brought with him a child who had magical potential years ago and that child has lived in the academy ever since but was deficient in terms of magic.

He stopped in front of the big board, which was 1.5 sticks long and 1 stick wide. The name of the supreme magician was at the base of the portrait with gold wire letters, AstrielDeveron. He had black hair falling over his shoulders and dark brown eyes, he was sitting in an armchair that was in the room of the supreme magicians. His face had a bit of nobility mixed with a stern but very handsome face, his face was perfectly proportioned and fit perfectly with his 1.2 rods in height. His body was somewhat athletic compared to most magicians, rumors say that the supreme magician has always practiced various activities and the one he liked best was climbing great mountains.

Tristan looked at that portrait every day and left there determined to do his best in training related to his mind, his potential to master all the occult arts of the magicians, he hoped to awaken his magic and not to disappoint the magician who had him brought to that place, deep down Tristan didn't want to be the supreme Mage's only flaw. The long corridors of the academy were full of entrances, which would make anyone get lost, so in the early years, students had to walk with a monitor. Already feeling agonized by the thought of a book inside his back, Tristan started to run. The rush and the number of thoughts about what he could do with the newly acquired artifact and the possibility of finding something that could help him use magic meant that he didn't notice the people in front of him before he ran into something big. that immediately knocked him to the ground.

He looked up and came face to face with a snow-white tunic. When facing the face of the person he had bumped into, he received a different look back, he had never seen bright eyes before. He had hit the supreme magician. Even though he always lived in the academy he had never seen the wizard so closely, this was because the supreme magician had many affairs and did not deal with trivial matters since Astriel had become one of the sacred and later the supreme magician had to leave in travel all over the territory seeking knowledge and continuing with your obligations to sweep the entire territory creating bridges of body connection. Kingdom protection was also his responsibility. Now he had finally returned after almost a year and a half, he had come without telling anyone because he wanted to avoid just the person in front of him. The look of sadness directed at Tristan made the boy aware of the great mistake he had made.

Tristan jumped up and bowed to the supreme magician who was chasing after him about twenty other magicians, two of whom beside him displayed their white robes and bright eyes, he had never seen a holy level wizard up close, much less three at the same time, his heart failed for a moment and his body went rigid.

-I I I I'm sorry, the supreme magician. -His voice came out so low that it could have been considered just a whisper. He got up and stepped out of the way again to bow.

They did what everyone else did, ignored him, and continued on their way. But Tristan could have sworn he saw something like a sad smile in the eyes of the wizard who carried the title of wisest. Before rushing to the bedroom, he decided to stop by the kitchen first to catch up on the news. The only people who spoke to Tristan were the kitchen staff, no one else cared about the poor wizard without magical skills, half of the Academy's best past moments were lived in the kitchen.

-What is happening, Irma? -Tristan came out of the kitchen breathing hard.

- The supreme magician arrived from his trip. -Said the old lady, she was one of those who had raised the boy. - I haven't seen a supreme wizard here in a while, we were taken by surprise and now the kitchen is crazy! Imagine, we have to cook for three supreme magicians boy! I haven't seen Lord Astriel in a long time ...

After talking to Irma and getting some cookies to snack on later Tristan took his coffee and went to eat in his room, he did not eat with the other apprentices, as he was constantly humiliated by the lack of magical skills. The teachers saw how he was treated, but they did nothing. Now he was twelve years old and was already in the second year of his studies. In the first year, he obtained top marks in all theoretical tests of "History of Magic" and "The Grand Masters and their achievement" was changed to advanced classes after his performance, "Art of Naming" and "Magic Languages" in the classes advanced were not a big problem for Tristan's prodigious mind, "Linguistics of the ancient peoples of the Erma land" and many other classes were taken too long to complete the time, Tristan did not like to be idle, he was the only student to catch a quantity large number of disciplines. In the practices of "Creating Remedies for Namible Curses" and "Advanced Magical Illnesses" and Advanced "Magical Inventions" Tristan felt very good.

But his incompetence for magic shown in the "practice of magic", which was in the beginners class without showing signs that he would change classes, which was a waste following some teachers, if he with all his knowledge had average magical energy they would be one of the best students in the academy. Tristan has always lived in the gym, so since he was two years old when he learned to read, he has been devouring books after books. But what good is it for a magician to know so much if I couldn't even lift a feather with magic, that made Tristan the thing of many apprentices. So he took the initiative to isolate himself from everyone.

{Hi guys, it's me, that one who knows everything! If you find someone whose eyes are shining, avoid bumping into them is just a caveat.}
