Chapter 45: Eli come across the decaying corpses

Eli started to walk deep into the dark forest. There was some stench coming from nearby. She walked towards it without minding the foul smell. After strolling for almost ten minutes, she found the reason for the stink.

She saw several parts of the human remain scattered around. The heads were arranged in a row while the hands and legs were in another row… The body was split open and the intestines were pulled out. The internal organs scattered everywhere on the ground. There was one body with only bones left…

The insects and worms had already started to eat away the flesh from those bodies. She did not want to walk further into the forest to see any more dead bodies. She came out from the forest and stood at the end of the forest looking at the mansion from afar.

The lights went out after three hours, but she did not move away from where she was standing. The upright position she had, had not changed for the whole three hours.
