Chapter 64: Reaching home..
Kruthika ended the call and waited for the train for five and half hours. As the train came at sharp 9:20pm, Kruthika boarded the train and went to her seat.
She had some sandwich which she took the parcel in station and went to sleep covering herself in the shawl. Her hometown arrives at morning 4:30am, she slept till 4:15 and waited for the train to stop at the Hubli station.
She could see her father looking at the compartments for her, as soon as the train stopped in the platform, Kruthika called her father.
"Dad! Here!", Kruthika called her dad.
Madhusudan saw her, he was wearing a full sleeves sweat shirt and black pant, he took her luggage from her hand and stepped towards the exit.
"How are you dear?", Madhusudan asked her.
"Fine dad. How are you?"
"Fine. It's been more than six months that I've seen you and even spoke to you. You said cell phones were not allowed in there, so we communicated with letters"
"Yeah. Even I felt homesick few times there, but I had to so right!"
"What's the necessary dear?!! If you marry someone who earns good is enough right", Madhusudhan said to her. By this time they reached their two wheeler and he rode her to home.
On the journey they continued their conversation.
"But I won't be having anything as mine, everytime I use his I might feel like I'm using his money. When with you also I feel the same", Kruthika answered, she thought, 'May be they are trying to marry me to some guy they have seen. Otherwise why would dad raise a topic suddenly'.
"Okay, we talk about it after few hours. How was the journey?"
"Haaa. It was good except for two members who snore and the baby that cried whole night listening to this snore, my sleep went good", said Kruthika sarcastically.
"So you didn't have pleasant sleep whole night", Madhusudan asked her.
"No..", said Kruthika.
They both were silent till they reached the home.
"Okay, you can go and sleep now, no one will disturb you. But if your own snores disturb you, then I'm not responsible for that!!", Madhusudan said teasing her and laughed.
"Dad! I don't snore. It's you who snores whenever you sleep luckily I've got some of mom's genes", Kruthika said as she got down from the vehicle and before she could knock the door Madhavi opened it.
"So you are finally here!", Madhavi said in joy hugging her, she was fully dressed up.
"Mom, are you going to temple now?!!", Kruthika asked seeing her mother.
"Yeah,I prayed to God that the day you come here I'll visit temple", Madhavi said.
"I knew it. You haven't changed mom", Kruthika said and sat on the sofa.
"Why are you sitting? Go and get some sleep, we won't wake you till 10. Okay", Madhusudan said to her.
"No dad I'll sleep afternoon. I'll help mom in her chores", Kruthika said.
"Hey I've finished everything only preparing breakfast is pending", Madhavi answered, the clock was now ticking 5:15.
"Okay then. I'll just have a shower and have a nap", Kruthika said.
