Chapter 59: A new chapter in her life
After having a delicious dinner Kruthika went near the balcony of the hotel to have a view of the vehicles moving during night. She was sipping her drink which consisted of soda with some orange flavour.
She was wearing shoulder-less white and blue party dress which hugged her body, her cost bones could be seen as it was shoulder-less. He hairs were curled by her roommate, Srinidhi.
"What are you hiding from me?", came a husky voice beside her, Kruthika turned to see who was it, it was Navneet. Navneet was wearing blue t-shirt with leather jacket and jeans.
"Nothing. What should I hide from you?", Kruthika asked him.
"I feel very strongly that you have been hiding something very important, won't you want to share with someone. Or else you'll feel heavy about it", Navneet said as he bent to the grill of the balcony.
"There's nothing, you are just bluffing Navneet", Kruthika said glaring at the city lights.
"Kruthika you know what, you are looking beautiful in this dress. Why didn't you wear it all these days?", Navneet asked her.
"I just didn't have any occasion that's it. I had bought this dress when I was in first year of engineering, I wore this in my room for new year event, when only we girls partied", Kruthika said with smile.
"Oh. Kruthika I had to say you something. But you've to promise me that even after this night we'll still be friends as before", Navneet said to her.
"What is it Navneet?", Kruthika asked being suspicious.
There was silence between them. Kruthika stared at him waiting for his answer, while he was very nervous and afraid.
With a deep sigh, "I think I've feelings for you", Navneet broke the silence.
"Navneet I think it's attraction. And moreover I never thought about * in such a way, I'm really sorry if I've hurt your feelings", Kruthika said to him looking into his eyes.
"Oh okay", said Navneet, he was upset. He turned away as he pursed his lips in disappointment.
Kruthika felt very sorry for him, she never thought that he had taken it so seriously. He took care of her, listened to her problems and gave solutions to few of them. Initially she had crush on him but that was not love.
Even though if it was love, she didn't want it so early when she would go to aashram of Shivyogi Guruji to start her yoga course, which she lied to everyone as airforce training.
Varshini and Sunil were still having their dinner as they are always slow in eating, Navneet went to washroom. Kruthika sat beside Varshini.
Kruthika and Navneet never brought that topic again infront of Sunil and Varshini. After having dinner Kruthika went to Varshini's home to spend that night with her as it was too late that hostel would not allow her.
Next day afternoon Kruthika went to railway station to catch the train to her hometown. Varshini actually lended a helping hand to Kruthika for her packing stuff and came to see off her to station.
They both wished luck to each other, promised to stay in contact and invite for wedding. They both felt overwhelmed and hugged each other as they won't be this close in their future because of their work load etc..
Kruthika was going to her hometown only to repeat the same lie that she said to her friends. She convenced her parents that she would be going to attend the defence entrance tests and she would give her best try.
During that training there would be no cell phones available and only communication will be by means of letters.
Her parents supported her prayed for god's blessings.
If her parents knew the actual past they would never let Kruthika alone anywhere, they became over protective of her after Karthik's demise.
Kruthika had no way other than lying to them, which she felt very guilty * for.
After staying there for three days, Kruthika started her journey towards a new chapter in her which changed everything as of present.
She went to Nisarga Yoga Centre which also know as asharam of Shivyogi Guruji.
She read the book, THE PRINCIPLES OF DHARMA completely. She tried to follow according to the principles given in the book till today.
The payment of fifteen thousand has to be made for program of one year, this payment is only for food and accommodation. The centre didn't take fees for teaching because they considered it as a service to God.
Shivyogi Guruji thought her personally, because he has special interest in her as he knew her purpose of learning this.
On the first day of her arrival, she *read asked to meet guruji. Meeting was in guruji's office as before. During meeting..
"So did you read the book? Since you are here I assume that you've read it and made your mind to begin the course. You remember right, once you step in there's no step back and you should not use this knowledge for your own benifit", guruji asked her in his stiff voice.
"Yes Guruji, I've read the book and I want to start the course and I agree to all the conditions applied", Kruthika answered with determination.
"Okay. So what did you learn from the book that I gave to you?", guruji asked her sitting in his seat.
"Meaning of Dharma, how one must be bound to Dharma no matter how fate takes the test* of you. And how does it apply. Dharma of various positions in our society", Kruthika answered.
"Lying is not Dharma, you knew it very well but still you lied to your parents and classmates about your plan after completing your degree. Why did you do so? Isn't this the violation of Dharma?"
"Dharma changes from one situation to other. In my case, I was not supposed to reveal what I am doing because my brother wanted the information what I needed to know was confidential. So it's not right to share this with others no matter how much close they might be to me"
"Okay. But why are you sharing this to me? Even there's risk in sharing such confidential information with me, don't you think?", Guruji asked her.
