Chapter 54: 'What does that mean?!!'
Kruthika looked into everyone's eyes, her eyes days how important this was to her. She grabbed her bag and went to her hostel.
Soon after reaching her room, she again opened the letters and journal.
"How could I even forget about symbols?!!", Kruthika thought to herself.
21/6 was the date mentioned in the letters, and was underlined completely with right arrow mark - The word corresponding to it in the journal was WHY.
12/8 is the second date or number mentioned in letter, and was underlined only for 1 left arrow marked -The word corresponding to journal when checked in first page, second paragraph and eighth word from backwards (because of left arrow mark) is OR. Since only first number is underlined taking first letter O.
11/4 is the third date mentioned in letter, and is underlined for first 1(which is in ten's place) arrow mark towards right - The word corresponding to journal when checked in first page, first paragraph and fourth word as normal is GOING. Since only first number is underlined taking first letter G.
Similarly for text of the number and abiding to their symbols mentioned, Kruthika tallied them and wrote the letters and words which Karthik meant to say her.

"Something is missing. Let me take this WHY for simplicity Y!", Kruthika said to herself in mind. She arranged the letters and words in meaningful manner.
Now it said, YOGA IS ANSWER.
"Yoga is answer!! But how?!!
Think!! Think Kruthika think...
May be it's even in journal pictures what he wants to say. Pictures really mean something or else why would he attach them here"
Kruthika observed the pictures attached in the journal.
"In first picture he is doing mediation. Even Rohit said Karthik did meditation and yoga. He didn't learn in Hubli, that's for sure.
Then there must be some institution or some teacher who taught him. Like honestly he can't learn it deeply simply on internet.
But how can I find it? I guess teachers take fees and he must have paid them by his card. May be by withdrawing money or by direct card payment since Dad gave us money by adding it to our account.
I've to go through his passbook. And to do it, I've to go to home as soon as possible. I've kept all his documents in dad's store room where he keeps his old bills.
While informing everyone any Karthik's demise after accident, I even requested Adarsh Sir right!! May be I can call him and enquire about this. Since Karthik's and mine bank account is same there wouldn't be any problem.
I can get his number from father. But what will I answer when dad asks me about it?!!
Okay I'll say there's some problem with my card."
Kruthika took her mobile and dialled her dad's number.
K: Hello. Good afternoon dad. How are you?
M: Haa. I'm fine, how are you?
K: I'm fine too. Dad do you have the phone number of Adarsh Sir, the one who's the bank manager.
M: Yeah. I have it, but why?
K: Nothing, my card is not working. So thought of contacting him to know what might be the problem!
M: Okay I'll message it to you, is that fine?
K: It'll be great. Thanks dad.
M: Didn't you say that you'll be going to Navneet's home to discuss about the project?
K: Yeah, actually I remembered another work so now I'm not going. Okay dad I've done work I'll call you evening.
M: Okay dear. Bye.
Kruthika recieved the message from her father. She called Adarsh sir, the bank manager.
K: Hello, am I talking to Adarsh Hegde?
A: Yes you are. May I know who's talking to him right now?
K: It's Kruthika Krishnapur, daughter of Madhusudan who owns a garment shop.
A: Yeah Kruthika. Is everything going well with your parents?
K: Yes sir everything's going great with your blessings. The reason I called you is that I needed the help from you to give me the soft copy of the passbook of my brother Karthik. Is it possible?
A: But why now after these many days? You've even closed his account right!
K: Yes sir, I needed it to clarify my doubts, that's it sir. Please is it possible!!
A: Hmmm... It cannot be done today, as today is holiday to bank. I'll send it to you tomorrow afternoon, just remind me once again morning. Okay.
K: Thank you sir, sure I'll remind you. I'll message you to this number tomorrow morning. Thank you sir.
A: Should I send the details to you as message or mail?
K: Mail will be fine sir. I'll send my mail id also tomorrow morning.
They both ended the conversation. She looked at the clock, it was still quarter past one, she returned to Navneet's home to continue the further discussion regarding their project.
Next day morning on her way to office she messaged Adarsh sir regarding the passbook details and her mail id. In afternoon, she recieved a mail from Adarsh, she thought of looking at it evening as it might consume time during her work.
After finishing the job, she went to her hostel, freshed up and had snacks in mess. She was going through the mail, and analysed the passbook of Karthik.
All the transactions seemed normal, he withdrawed thousand bucks for ten to fifteen days which might be for the snacks he ate with his friends when he hangs out. And few times he withdrawed two thousand one in six months, which might be fit his books.
But one transaction as of fifteen thousand bucks which was actually transferred to another account. She felt fishy about it.
"Why did he transact so much money that too he transferred it to other account?!!
There would be no need to pay the college fees, dad looks after fees.
May be he used this amount to pay fees for the teacher!! Even though dad would have known about this, but why didn't he inform to me then?
I can't even ask him now, as his memory is only a couple of months old.
These is no use in discussing the questions whose answer I'll never get. Let me know to whose account did karthik transfer the money"
