Chapter 51: Return of her parents to home
Her head ached when she thought about all these things. She fell asleep on the couch thinking about these things.
Clock ticked 4 in evening, she woke up and cooked some food for her parents. Later hid the journal in her room and packed some food for her parents.
Though she didn't knew cooking food perfectly like her mom she tried her best to reach that level. She locked the door of house and went to the hospital taking her bike.
She thanked the staff for looking after her parents, she gave them food to eat and she visited doctor to know about their state.
"May I know the position of my parent's wound?", Kruthika asked.
"Yeah, now they are completely alright. You can take them home today or tomorrow morning as per your convenient", doctor said.
"Doctor, will my parents get their memory back!! Is it possible in any way?", Kruthika asked with a bit of worry.
"Kruthika I've already said you. If there is any possible then I would have been implementing it on them. I'm really helpless and sorry", doctor said and showed his helplessness.
"You have to just accept the reality and move on. The way you are handling all these matters all by yourself really amazes me. And the decision you have taken about hiding about Karthik, it's good. But do you think that no one will ask them about this even by mistake?", doctor asked her.
"Yeah it might happen but I'm hoping for best. Hoping that everything goes well ahead", Kruthika answered glaring at the floor.
"Okay, in future if you need any medical assistance for your parents feel free to contact me", doctor said as he handed his visiting card to her.
DR. AKRUR CHAKRABORTY was written on the visiting along with his contact details.
"Thank you doctor for your concern. Okay I'll take them to home tonight if possible or else tomorrow morning. I'll take leave doctor", Kruthika said and went to her parent's ward.
Madhusudan and Madhavi ate the food cooked by Kruthika and were waiting for her.
"So did you have the food which I brought for you?", Kruthika asked them as she took a chair and sat between their beds.
Madhusudan and Madhavi's bed were in the same room side by side.
"Yeah! So when are you saying about us!", Madhavi asked her.
"Tomorrow. Doctor said that you both have recovered and I can take you both to our home. Isn't it good I narrated your story with photos of your's", Kruthika said with a smile which hid the pain behind it.
"Okay. Will you take us to home today?", Madhusudan asked.
"Are you eager to come?", Kruthika asked them. Both of them nodded their heads.
"Okay. Be ready I'll take a taxi and come", Kruthika said in joy and went to outside.
She booked a taxi and asked the driver to wait for few minutes for her parents to arrive.
"So Kruthika your parents finally recovered. Take them inside and ask them to fresh up okay. They have just came from hospital didn't they?!", said their neighbour aunty, as they got down from the taxi.
"Okay aunty as you say", Kruthika said and took her parents to home.
She was happy that her parents recovered and were coming to home.
"I'm very happy that you are coming to home finally", Kruthika said to them in joy.
They reached the home, Kruthika welcomed them.
"Will you please explain now?!!", Madhavi was losing her patience.
"Yeah. I will. I'm not running anywhere. But please get freshed up you have come from hospital isn't it!", Kruthika said to them.
She showed them about the house and the belongings they had. Madhavi and Madhusudan both freshed up themselves and came to the drawing room. Kruthika was ready with the photo albums and the cassette of their wedding video.
She firstly explained them about everything before their marriage about their relatives and friends. Initially she thought of lying about his sibling's behaviour to him, but she thought that they had right to know what happened between them in past.
Madhavi and Madhusudan sat beside their daughter Kruthika and were listening to her keenly.
She pointed the person on the photo in the album and said who was he/she, how were they related to them and so on...
She didn't know all of them but she explained only few of them.
"So .I know these many people you knew before marriage. After marriage after one and half year I was born. I'm your only child", Kruthika said to them controlling her tears.
"I'm sorry dear, it must have been very difficult for you to handle all these things so alone", Madhavi said and hugged her.
"It's okay mom. It's because of you I was able to manage all the big things alone. You asked me to assist dad in business and that is how I know how to handle the business and people at a very young age", Kruthika answered.
'It was your dream that helped me to reach here. It was your vision mom that even girls should learn how money works in business and boys to learn about cooking and to save money in different ways'.
Kruthika thought to herself about the old days, where Karthik helped her mom and she helped her dad.
"But I've a doubt, I agree that she's my wife and you are our daughter. But why weren't you injured in the accident?", Madhusudan asked Kruthika.
"I was having holidays so we decided to go on picnic. We went to rainforest area, I was buying chocolates there and driver went to have a coffee. It was only you both in the car and the truck hit the car. Hopefully you both weren't dead, only your head was injured, I'm really very afraid of losing you both", Kruthika said as tears rolled from her.
Madhavi and Madhusudan thought she is crying remembering the incident again and she had a fear of losing them. But she was crying because she was lying to them. She manipulated the story.
