Chapter 48: The one with roasting of all

"Yeah, but your father don't remember anything. He has lost his memory", Sonalika answered in place of her husband.

"Aunty, my father has lost his memory not his character, unlike some people who can lick other's shoe for there work, my father has done self esteem", Kruthika answered in the same tone.

Sonalika was shocked to hear such words from her, because it was the first time for Kruthika to speak like this.

Kruthika thought of saying all such words during Karthik's funeral itself, but she stopped herself from doing that which would hurt her parents. Not because she will hurting her aunt, but she was too young to involve in such big issues.

"And moreover I'm really not in a mood to reveal your mask", Kruthika said.

"Kruthika this is not how you talk with elders", her paternal grandfather, Pruthvi said her.

"Oh please, didn't I say that I'm really not in a mood to reveal your true faces. I meant to everyone, these many days I wanted to say all these things. It was my parents who stopped me, but now you", pointing to Mohan.

"You are just worried about the bill. You just scared that whether I'll make you to pay the bills. And your wife, she's always jealous and always says evil about my mom behind our back. And when my dad realised your dirty tricks and tried to keep you at a distance you thought of marrying me to your son", Kruthika said pointing her forefinger at her aunt.

"So that my father will be at your foot to obey your orders. And he'll offer you everything. Are you not fulfilled by now when my father gave his ancestory asset to you? Do you want to suck our blood? Is that what you want?", Kruthika asked her aunt.

"And you both, you both are elders right. You should have given right values to your daughter. Atleast now you could have advised her about her misdeeds. But now you choose to remain silent as if everything is going correct"

"Oh God! I really never wanted to yell at all of you today infront of others. But you left me no choice", Kruthika said as she glazed.

"We are here on your call Kruthika!", Sonalika said boiling in guilty and anger.

She never expected Kruthika would talk this harshly to her.

"As far as I remember I never get asked you to be here, Aunt. I'll be glad if you leave this place at once", Kruthika said as she pointed the door.

"I don't care how much you talk behind my back now. Note my line, before you say bullshit about me behind my back, I'll prove it right. You said my mother I'll treated you right, she'll not do anything, actually I'll I'll treat you and even your parents can't stop it", she said the last sentence looking at her paternal grandparents.

"You might be thinking what this girl will do to me! You really don't know that I can really do hell lot of things to hurt you, just my words are enough", Kruthika said in anger and revenge.

Sonalika and Mohan left the hospital without a second thought.

"You should have not behaved like that Kruthika, it doesn't gain you any blessings. Afterall Madhusudan is her brother before he became you father", her paternal granny, Anjana said to her.

"I know that, but I cannot act like you, as if nothing happened here. Even acting like good doesn't gain any blessings granny. Did she ever treat my father with love and affection? Answer it!", Kruthika answered.

"Is my father your own son or did you just adopt him??", Kruthika asked her grandparents, as she took a deep breath.

"He's our own son. Why did you ask such question?", Anjana and Pruthvi asked her.

"Then why do you treat him like that!! Why didn't you question your daughter for talking evil about my mom behind her back? Why didn't you question your younger son's wife, when she asked my father to fall at her foot and say sorry? Why?", Kruthika asked her grandparents.

How could they even answer her questions, when it was all their fault of being silent. Madhusudan was elder son, Sonalika is the only daughter and Ajeet is younger son to couple Anjana and Pruthvi.

"I really didn't wanted to bring all these things up, but since I've bought your daughter's now I'll do for you all", Kruthika said as she pointed her finger to Anjana and Pruthvi.

"It's really not the way to talk to elders like that Kruthika!!", Pruthvi said in anger.

"Oh! If you would have done all the jobs in a rightful way, then there would have been no situation for me to bring all such things. Say me, which job have you done correctly without differentiating between your own kids", Kruthika asked as she folded her hands.

"It was my father who did Sonalika's marriage to a good home which was prosperous in wealth. It was my father who gave money for your younger brother's education and did his marriage also. The responsibilities which you were supposed to complete my father completed them"

"He didn't save anything for his future not even for his children. He opened a garment shop and because of God's grace and blessings it is going well. Now please don't disturb us", Kruthika said joining her hands.

Ajeet and his wife, Rashmi who had arrived stood near by eavesdropping at what she said. Kruthika didn't fail to notice him.

"Standing there and listening to us like a thief, yeah it suits to you perfectly", Kruthika said not even looking at them.

Everyone over there looked around to whom she was addressing, it was Ajeet and Rashmi.

"We just came here to take look at my brother and take him to good hospital in our town", Ajeet said in guilty.

"When you didn't even visit me once.... Sorry sorry visiting is too far. When you haven't even invited me to your home in these three and half when I stayed in Bangalore. And not even called us once in nearly five yearrs. How come suddenly you remembered that you have an elder brother and his children??", Kruthika asked sarcastically to him.

"I visited the home during Karthik's funeral", Ajeet said to make his point.

"Oh! Yeah! Indeed true!! You made a big favor by doing so isn't it??", Kruthika acting surprised.

"I don't want my father to see such ugly people when he wakes up. Before he didn't know how his family was even he loved it so much that it broke his heart. Now I won't let it happen. Thank God that he lost his memory, or else I can't see more him crying silently daily behind his smile", Kruthika said.
