Chapter 46: Third letter....
Kruthika swore to herself that Karthik's goal would be hers from now.
Later...
She read took the letters from the book, she saw the third letter. It was addressed to Sunaina by the same pearl like handwriting, it was stamped. Kruthika felt strange as why would he write letter to her best friend.
She wondered if she should read it or not. As it was their personal letter. Anyways she right of reading it.
'Sunaina,
I know your feelings towards me. I feel it's inappropriate, it's my request to finish about this here itself before it grows strong. I don't want to face further complications. I'm really sorry to hurt your feelings. I hope you'll understand me.

Karthik'
She was dumbstruck when she read the letter.
"It means Sunaina loved Karthik! Then she might be the one who placed two letters here and she have mistakenly placed third letter here. I failed to recognise it. Oh God!! What is going on?", Kruthika asked herself.
Kruthika didn't want to discuss about this to Sunaina.
Her parents were sleeping in the other room, she waited until they wake up.
After an hour they both woke up and were having tea, sitting on chairs side by side.
"Dad, I was... was just thinking why don't we go somewhere", Kruthika said, Madhusudan looked at her with confusion.
Kruthika kneeled down holding the palms of Madhavi and Madhusudan in her hand. She said,
"Like a change of environment. What happened in past we can't change it. Let's have a new start in our life. I know it's a very tough call but life has to move on like the running water of river. I'm not asking you to forget Karthik even I can't do that but let's begin a new chapter in our lives"
"It's just been a week since Karthik has left us. I understand your crazy and inappropriately I'm talking. Dad, Mom, please I really can't see you both like this. Everytime I see you both depressed I feel like someone stabbed in my stomach and heart. Please....I really can't see to you both like this"
Saying so Kruthika cried on her mother's lap.
'We should be the one to console you dear, how did I let you down to console me. I'm really not worthy to be your father', Madhusudan thought within himself as he ran his fingers on her hairs.
"Kruthika get up dear! Okay we'll think about it inform you tomorrow don't cry. I can't see you crying", Madhavi said as she raised her daughter holding her shoulders.
"Then just imagine mom, how I am feeling seeing you both like this. Losing my brother is on one side and seeing you both like this is on other side. I really can't describe how much it hurts me and how much I'm in pain", Kruthika answered, she sobbed.
"I'm really sorry", Madhavi said.
"Don't be mom. We all just need a change now let's move to new house", Kruthika said.
"No I can't I can still feel him here Kruthi.. Please he might not be with us, I feel like he's here in this home while I look at every inch of this place", Madhavi said.
"Moving to a new home is really impossible for us. But we can go to trip for a change", Madhusudan said after thinking about it.
They decided about the trip, like place, number of days and budget. They booked a car, even though Madhusudan knew driving the car, but he was not in a mood, he booked the driver also.
They thought of visiting some rainforest area, since it was nearest destination at the cheapest budget, they went there.
Since it is rainforest area the roads are more curvy and steep. Who's driving should be good even if he/she divert the focus from driving even little bit, everyone's life will be at danger.
The journey was safe and sound, they reached the lodge which they booked. They visited some places during day had good lunch. Anyone in their place would have enjoyed the scenery filled with green, but since they were in loss of Karthik they didn't enjoy it much.
They finished the trip, and were about to return to home. There were numerous shops beside the roadside seeking homemade chocolates, pure honey and some spices.
Kruthika asked to stop the car, she thought of buying chocolates for her friend Sunaina, who's birthday was approaching.
She went inside the shop, while the driver got out of his car just to have a cup of tea in near by small hotel leaving just Madhavi and Madhusudan in car. There were sitting in the back passenger's seat of car.
There came a truck in opposite direction which was having heavy goods, the driver in the truck lost his control and hit the car which was parked just beside the road, in which Kruthika's parents were present.
Hearing the loud noise, Kruthika came outside to take a look at what happened!
She got numb by seeing the scene, another disaster which she never thought of. The car was just an inch from falling from the height to crush itself to the depth, where one can't find the corpses.
Driver rushed immediately and pulled her parents from the car, who were covered in blood on they're heads and were lying unconscious in the car.
They admitted them to the near by hospital. They were taken to operation theatre, Kruthika waited there cursing herself.
"This is all my fault, I made the plan of so called 'CHANGE OF ENVIRONMENT'. It was my fault to stop the car just to buy some chocolates. It's all my fault. If i didn't made this plan of trip, atleast I could never see them in this situation. They could have just be depressed for few months or may be couple of years. But after that would have been adjusted to the fact. It's all my fault".
She called her grandparents and informed about the situation. They said that they will be there as soon as possible. She asked the driver to go to his home and she will talk to the owner.
Since Kruthika assisted her father in business and money flow of home, she knew about the health insurance and paid the hospital bill.
After operating, doctors called Kruthika in their cabin to discuss about seriousness of her parent's condition. Kruthika went inside the cabin as per instructions.

She lost her brother, now her parents are in ICU.
