Chapter 40: The one with movie review...
Kruthika narrated the answer to her.
"Indeed the question was very tricky. But once we know the solution to problem it seems so easy", Navneet's mom, Revathi answered., "May I know, how did you know that riddle?"
"Well this riddle was asked by my classmate during my school days", Kruthika answered.
"Oh, it seems that you really have a very good memory power", Navneet said raising his eyebrows.
"One tends to remember which fancies him/her the most. And I'm no different", Kruthika replied, "Okay aunty, Navneet I'm getting late. I..I need to go"
"Oh yeah sure", Navneet said and accompanied her till the gate of their apartment.
"Will you get the route to hostel? Do you want to accompany me?"he asked.
"No it's fine. I can manage I don't want to trouble you more"Kruthika said and bid bye to him, "Okay see in college on Monday".
"Yeah. Bye", he answered and went back.
Kruthika reached her hostel. She thought of visiting her relatives tomorrow.
Wednesday evening....
"Movie was really nice, that cute romantic stuff between Abhikshith and Samara Greene, Oh! I love their pair now", said Bhumi as they came out of the theatre.
"Yeah! Even I liked it. Specially that kiss moment. Oh it was really funny", said Vinod as he laughed.
Kruthika, Suma, Varshini and Bhumi stared at him.
"Okay it was romantic", Vinod finished his statement.
"Hey! Did you hear the news they both signed a new project together. It will be their second film together and I hope it's as romantic as it is", said Suma. They now headed to the cafe near by to have some refreshments.
"I don't know about that but Abhikshith and Roshini signed one", Bhumi said.
"Did you hear the other news. That Roshini and Praveen broke up", said Vinod. They all found a table and sat in their seats, Kruthika, Navneet and Bhumi sat opposite to Suma, Varshini and Vinod.
"Yeah and I think that's too sad", said Varshini. Suma, Bhumi and Navneet nodded to her.
"Why are you not saying anything since you saw the movie! Did you not like it?", Navneet asked Kruthika as he just slightly pushed Kruthika with his shoulder sitting beside to her.
"No I liked it. You were all talking I just thought to listen to your words. I feel this Roshini is so cunning woman and at the same time very clever", Kruthika said as she glared.
"And why do you feel so?", Vinod asked her. He was die hard fan of Roshini.
Kruthika knew it but it just slipped out of her tongue. Now when it has slipped she let it go.
"I mean like look at her. She became everyone's crush from her first film which is pure her luck. She got engaged to Praveen only after few films. I mean like falling in love with one is not that difficult and it only affects them if they break up. But before engaging to someone one must understand that if that break up, it will affect their families"Kruthika said
"They both hurried to relationship too soon. Not only that, now look at it, it is affecting both of their families", Kruthika said her thoughts about Roshini and Praveen to them.
"But it could happen to anyone but why are you being so judgemental!", Suma exclaimed.
"But they are celebrities and millions of eyes will be on them. They should be very careful before they take any step regarding this 'relationship'. They are the one's who showcase their personal life infront of people for mercy and sympathy. I don't belive celebrities in total", Kruthika says, she gave a disgusted expression on her last sentence.
"Even Abhikshith, but he's such a gem!", Bhumi asked her.
"You know what, let it go. Can we order something", Kruthika said as glanced the menu.
"Okay", said everyone and placed their orders.
She had fun with her friends returned to her hostel. Since she entered the gate, the warden stopped her.
"Are you Kruthika?", warden asked, she was holding a brown letter cover which Kruthika noticed. She thought it might* the reply letter from her brother.
"Yes I am Kruthika", Kruthika answered.
"You've got a letter. Since it was your first time of recieving letters I thought I should hand over it to you. Next time the letters will be with me, you can collect it in my office", said warden as she handed over the letter to her.
"Thank you Ma'am", Kruthika said as she took the letter.
'Karthik M K' was the name written on the cover. She understood it was her brother and read the letter on the bench outside of hostel.
'Hi Kruthika. Hope you are doing well. I'm fine and I'm sorry for not answering your messages and calls. I think it's better that we converse like this, by means of letter. But may be in some other language. Like you write it in English but when I read it, it should be Hindi or vice versa. You got it what I said right! I know you are very clever and smart.
Everything here is very good. Everything I mean everything food, campus, teaching, library and football ground. Oh I love to be here.
Take care of yourself. I know you will but it's my duty to remind about it.

She felt overwhelmed by reading this letter, but she couldn't get why he used letters in instead of phone calls and other efficient means.
There are many other things apart from this that she couldn't understand about her brother.She thought of asking it again in the next letter, but Karthik never answered her question.
They didn't have breaks at same time, like Karthik got his break for thirty days in May month and thirty days in December, while Kruthika got her breaks of nearly two months (Mid June to mid of August) and fifteen days in January.
So they both rarely meet each other because of thier college schedule.
