Chapter 24: I've never been this possessive....
"Hi good morning", said Abhikshith as Kruthika came down to prepare breakfast, she was dressed in night suit and her hairs were tied in bun.
"Good morning. Why did you get up so soon?", Kruthika asked as she took the box of pulses from the shelf.
"I got up early to do my work out, you know", said Abhikshith.
"Oh", said Kruthika and engaged into work.
"I just finished my exercise", said Abhikshith continuing the conversation.
"Oh. So at what time did you wake up?", asked Kruthika as she kept pulses for boiling in water.
"Thought to wake up at 5:30, but woke up at 6", said Abhikshith.
"Why so early? Do you have work today, it's weekend right?", asked Kruthika.
"No, just to see sunrise I thought of waking up early and doing exercise", said Abhikshith.
"So there's no shooting today?", asked Kruthika.
"Only I'm not having, but rest of team members are have their scenes. I thought to rest today at home. Why do you have any work with me or ask me anything?", Abhikshith asked.
"Nothing like that. It's weekend right, just asked what are your plans", answered Kruthika.
Abhikshith saw she was quite normal and isn't as dull and depressed like yesterday, so he thought of asking the question that he didn't get the answer.
"Kruthika can I ask you a question if you don't mind?", asked Abhikshith with bit of hesitation.
"You already asked one", said Kruthika, "I'm just kidding. It depends on the question you ask whether I mind or not".
"I know it's none of my business, but I just wanted to know..."Abhikshith was interrupted by her.
"Abhi, please be clear about what you want to ask and be quick", Kruthika said.
"Why did you reject the alliance? Is it because you didn't like him or is there any other reason?", Abhikshith asked her.
Kruthika just fell silent and after a pause she said, "Oh wait, you were right in the first place, it's none of your business. My parents are enough to worry about me. I appreciate your concern but I can't share you my personal stuff".
"I'm sorry, but why are being rude to me?", asked Abhikshith.
"Abhikshith sir, what would you answer if anyone asked about your break up with Roshni? Wouldn't you say them to shut the fuck? And in that sense I'm being polite", Kruthika answered coldly.
"Hey good morning", said Sachin as he came from his room, he didn't hear to this conversation.
"Good morning", said Kruthika changing her coldness into warmness with a smile.
"Good morning", said Abhikshith after seeing this sudden change in Kruthika's face.
"So what were you talking?", asked Sachin as he sat taking one chair from the dining table facing towards her.
"Nothing, he was just asking me how to prepare upma", answered Kruthika before Abhikshith.
"Why Abhi, do you have any chef role in upcoming scripts?", asked Sachin.
"Nothing as such Sachin", answered Abhikshith.
"Sachin breakfast is ready. You can have it anytime", said Kruthika.
"Why, isn't everyone having breakfast together today?", asked Abhikshith.
"No, today's holiday right, everyone will wake up late. So they have breakfast at different time", answered Sachin. Kruthika just served breakfast for herself and went to her room.
Abhikshith felt sorry for what he asked her, so he thought to apologise her. He went to her room door and knocked it.
"Who is it?", she asked.
"It's. It's me Abhi", answered Abhikshith.
"I'll have my breakfast and come down within 5 minutes", she answered.
Abhikshith waited for her in the balcony, "She didn't say anything wrong. Yeah even I get angry when anyone ask me about my personal life. Abhikshith don't be senseless man. Don't make a bad impression of yourself, you are here to know her. Don't be over possessive, she doesn't even know about your feeling for her", saying these words to himself.
She came after few minutes she came to the balcony, time was around 10 and sun was shining brightly in sky.
"Yes, what is it Abhikshith sir?", she asked him.
"I'm sorry, I just wanted to apologise you. And why are you calling me sir?", asked Abhikshith.
"I'm trying to keep people in their limits. Sachin, Anirudh, Sudeep and Hemanth are my roommates and friends for a very long time than you, when I haven't answered their question, they understood those questions will hurt me. On the other side there's a super star, whom I know only for few days and he is asking me questions which are not even related to him. When I didn't answer them yesterday, he came again this morning to repeat the same questions", said Kruthika.
"So what will you do when you face such person?", she demanded answer for it.
Abhikshith fell silent, he felt guilty for it. Kruthika's always like this, when someone hurts her she asks them questions directly she never hides the pain what they give it to her. She demands answer for that question to the one who hurts her, and never ever trusts them.
"How long are gonna remain silent like this?", asked Kruthika.
"I'm sorry Kruthika. I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm really sorry for hurting you", said Abhikshith who didn't look into her eyes.
With a deep sigh she said, "Okay forget it. Never ask me my personal questions. You are not my father. I didn't give you right to interfere in my life". "Okay let's be friends", she added and extended her hand for hand shake.
"I promise you I'll never repeat this again", said Abhikshith as he shook her hand.
"Okay, since no one knows about our clash, I like to keep it like this", Kruthika said.
"Okay", said Abhikshith.
"It's already half past ten, I need to get some sleep. Bye", said Kruthika and she went away.
"I've never been this possessive even with Roshni, may be because I didn't have feelings for her as I have for you. But I feel like to know you more. How can I do that without asking questions? I've to give more days for our friendship to be strong", thought Abhikshith.
