After finishing wedding they returned to their home in Hubli. After many months Kruthika was returning to her home, the only work she involves herself when she returns home is eating the delicious food cooked by her mom, playing with her pet dog, Bobby and sleeping.
When she's in her home she never uses her mobile, in case of absolute necessary she uses it to call her father to remind him of certain things to bring home, like cottage cheese and some tasty snacks.
It's like a leave for her from every possible work, if anyone from London sees her in this state they might not belive it, is this same Kruthika or some other person. She would be laziest version of human when she's at home that no one could ever see.
"Are you this lazy in London also?" , "Do you really cook food, take yoga classes for school children, take music lessons and go to work? Are you really doing those things or only bragging about it?", "I don't know how those boys are with you, when you are this lazy!!" these were the questions and statements that she heard so often during these three days.
Ofcourse nobody from her London house would belive that she might be slightest version of lazy and none of her parents were able to belive that she is multitasking and handles house chores, classes and work all by herself. Because none of them saw both versions of her together.
She didn't want to explain them and waste her precious time in arguing that she isn't lazy, because she had the limited time and didn't know how long would it might take for next visit to India. And when she's at her parents home there's not much work for her, so she chooses only to play with Bobby and chat with her parents about relatives and friends and laughing at old memories.
This time there was much more to chat with her parents to be precise her parents had much more for discussion with her.
"I hope this is the right time and place to discuss about your future", said her mom, while she was playing with her dog.
"Yes thank you Madhavi for reminding it. Look Kruthika, Manasa and you were classmates, and now she already got married. Not only she, many of your friends have already got married or atleast got engaged. I want to see you as a bride", said her father in a very serious tone.
"Look dad and mom, you said that you'll be with me to reach my dreams which is now taking a form of goal and I'm almost reaching it. I've to adopt three children and I've to be their mother and provide them good environment for their all-round growth . Please don't forget that you promised to be with me", said Kruthika calmly.
"Kruthika you were still a kid when you had that dream and adopting three children is not a joke. It's a huge responsibility. Try to understand the scenario it's not as easy as you think. It's too hard. And instead of adopting you can have your own kids with a right man of our choice", said her mother firmly.
"Mom I'm not granny okay! I'm still 24 let me think about marriage when I'm 26. Okay", said Kruthika still more calmly.
"Yeah! Being parents we are worried about you", said her mother.
"Dad you didn't say your opinion. Please don't silent dad say something", passed Kruthika.
"I know you have every answer for our question. As you wish but don't blame us later for your over matured behaviour that you have been showing now", said her dad who was upset.
Krithika couldn't see her father being upset,"Okay dad. I'm ready for marriage but you can only show me the boy of your choice but ultimate selection will be mine. I'll be deciding who's my husband out of the men you choose. This is my only condition", said Kruthika.
Her parents were delighted when heard these words from her. Only first four words of her second sentence mattered to them, they didn't take rest of her words seriously.
Within a blink of eye 2nd May her arrived, Kruthika had a flight at night to London and return to her original schedule. This time luggage was packed by her mom, she packed everything more efficient as Kruthika, as she was her mother after all. She asked her mom to pack few books along with them since it was a long journey she felt bored during the flight. They left the home at 10 am in morning and reached Bangalore at evening, they had dinner together at a restaurant.
After dinner they went Bangalore airport to see off her daughter, they wouldn't want waste even a single minute without spending it Kruthika and so did she.
But now they have to depart, they were having tears in their eyes, an unwillingness to say bye to their daughter. But they had no way than to say bye and give her blessings. It was hard for Kruthika to leave them alone, but she had no choice, she tried to controlled her emotions.
"It's time I have to go. Take care and be careful about your health and message me once you reach the home safely okay", said Kruthika who's voice was heavily unstable.
"You too dear. Take care of yourself and call me once you reach home safely. We will be waiting for your call", said her mother. Her father was still having tears in his eyes.
She bid bye to them and entered the airport and vanished among the crowd.
