Their bathroom was quite huge- and when she looked into the mirror atop the sink, she saw the face of the person who looked exactly like her- but her reflection doesn't have the same dress and cords of life support were connected to her- she was crying and pleading for Joy with the inaudible words she cant understand. She was filled with terror she cannot withstand and she was sent shivering on the corner of their rest room, crying and trying to scream- but she failed to form words and her voice refused to come out. The person got tired of lamenting while Joy was still filled with terror. The persona touched the mirror, and Joy fought her fright and stood up the moment she saw the sad eyes of the persona and she proceeded to indirectly touch her hands through the mirror. A luminous gray light hurt her eyes and she felt her surroundings get colder as she tried to see- just then, when she felt like the light had already faded, she opened her eyes and found herself on laying in a hospital bed. She looked at her hands and saw that her hands were bloody and terrible headache was kicking her head away as the nurses surrounded her, trying to stop the bleeding. She was drowsy, but she saw another person on the next bed- and the doctors were trying to revive him. She fought to keep her consciousness to see who the person was and what she saw shocked her. It was a pale-skinned silver-haired person- and she was trying to reach out; but his face was on the opposite direction. She tried screaming and calling for his attention, but she soon lost consciousness.
"Wake up. Wake up!" Josephine splashed water on her face and she quickly got up. It appeared that she slipped on the bathroom floor and her Nana came rushing to her for support. "What happened? Why and how did you slip?"
"I was daydreaming." Joy said as she realized that she really was daydreaming while she was on their bathroom. However, it wasn't her first time seeing the person in her reverie; she almost forgot about her but she appeared again somehow to haunt her- but it was a complete mystery afterall since evrything that she saw seemed real and the pain was real as well. Why did that person revealed herself again after so many months of being passive?
"You go rest now. But come down to eat first." Josephine said and left her after she was assured that Joy was okay. After she left, Joy looked at her arms and stood up to observe the mirror again, hoping to see her- but the person was already gone without a trace. She sighed in relief thinking that it was just some bad dream and left the comfort room to eat with her family. Meanwhile, the person in the mirror appeared again- and she was wearing a broken black necklace that shined like a diamond. Some pieces of it was lost- but the persona in the mirror reached out her hands on the floor, and a black piece of the necklace floated towards her and it stacked itself on the necklace to form a whole. The persona looked at the necklace and smiled frailly.
"Just 2 more. I just need her to go to the rooftop and the classroom." She said and vanished. Meanwhile, Joy came up to her room and drifted to sleep. She did not realize that her diary was left open on the floor because the persona had been in her room to hunt something down.

Weeks later, the students were already compelled to go to school because their vacation ended there and then. They spent their holidays happily and they were all more than ready and excited to go to school.
The morning was as cold as ice despite having the sun shine so brightly, and that made Joy wear layers of clothing to keep herself warm against the weather. She wore the black scarf that she found this morning on her closet. She was charmed by the beauty of the scarf because it has a beautiful stitch of moon on the end and it looked dazzling to a minimalist like Joy. Mari, Nick and Nathan were waiting for her outside of their gate and they too, were wearing thick layers of clothing because of the ice-cold weather. Joy waved goodbye to her Nana and went ahead together with her friends towards their school.
By lunch, she was someone by her teacher for short meeting regarding their journalism Club and it's incoming competition. As the editor-in-chief and the editorial writer, Joy was the person responsible for printing out the forms and preside on the meeting later on. Together with her stood Fallon, Mari, Nick, Nathan, and Henry from their class who was the managing editor for the school paper and they were also given the tasks. At the end of the day, after their class ended, the journalists from their school gathered on their assembly area for the meeting and it was decided that all of them would go. They talked about the registration fee and the means to go the venue and the merting progressed swiftly.
"It was such a drag that that event will commence tomorrow. I thought I'd have free time." Nick said and browsed his notes on the meeting.
"But we were already notified about that since last year and we received intense training." Nathan said and arranged his glasses. "News writing has been my event since I was in elementary so I don't see anything that can make me even flinch. Oh, what's your event again Mari?"
"I'm with the seniors in the Broadcasting team." Mari replied and noticed the news on the television of the teachers. "Look at the news!"
Everyone looked at the television and saw that the State Delta had made a move again - they were the aggressor on the last war and they made their battleship take rounds on the territorial sea of the State Gamma. All of them, including the teachers and staffs were mad about the news.
["Go agead. Get mad. Get sad." the persona said as she looked at Joy from the glass windows of the faculty room. "That way, I'll be able to fill the last piece of the necklace."]
"Let's just go." Joy said and they all left with heavy hearts because of the thought that another war would emerge out of nowhere because of the activities of State Delta.
