Chapter 41: Missing ring
Aaradhana reaches Arjun office.
Arjun (in mind) - Look . Here comes your engaged girl. I feel like I want to tease her now.
Arjun(clears throat) - A.. Aaradhana ,do I have any meetings in morning?.
Aaradhana - No sir
Arjun - I want discuss some personal matters with you.
Aaradhana - Sure Sir.
( Waits for few seconds)
Tell me Arjun.
Arjun - First you close all the window shutters. I don't want people to see we are discussing personal matters.
Aaradhana - Ok Arjun
( Aaradhana closes all the window shutters)
Arjun - Aaradhana is your right hand is well?
Aaradhana- Yes Arjun
Arjun - Can you come near me Aaradhana?
(Aaradhana goes near him)
(Arjun and holds her arm )
Arjun (in pitiful voice)- Aaradhana my head is aching like something. Can you give me a head massage
Aaradhana - Arjun head massage can be done with oil and you need to take hair bath after that
Arjun - No problem Aaradhana, I have shampoo,oil everything
(He goes to restroom and brings oil)
Aaradhana removes her ring and place in table.
She starts to massage with right hand alone.
Arjun - Aaradhana moves towards " left ". There it's paining more
Aaradhana massages in the left side
Arjun - Now "right",pain shifted there
Aaradhana does in right side
Arjun - Now towards center,... center Aaradhana ..center
Aaradhana does in center
Arjun - Wow Aaradhana, There is some magic in your hands. My pain is totally cured. If I get head ache in future , will you massage for me?
Aaradhana - Sure Arjun.
Arjun - Thank you Aaradhana, pain is gone.
(When Aaradhana was aboit wash her hand)
Arjun-my hand is aching a little can you massage there also.
Aaradhana massages his hand
Arjun - In my neck also
Aaradhana realizes that he is making fun of her.
Aaradhana - Sure Arjun
( Aaradhana massages Arjun neck hardly)
Arjun - Slowly Aaradhana.. Do Slowly
Aaradhana then moves to his hand and massages him with force
Arjun(shouts in pain) - Aa....Aaradhana stop it yaa, it's paining
Aaradhana - No Arjun I think, your head is also aching now, see how you are shouting.
Aaradhana continues massage hardly
Arjun - Stop. Stop it Aaradhana.. I am good now
(He runs to restroom as she tells him," Arjun wait , I didn't complete the massage. Wait)
After seeing him locking the restroom door Aaradhana think, "This is for messing with me.. Phhh"
As there were no works for her today , Aaradhana starts reading some marketing related books in online.
Aaradhana removes her glasses and sleeps for a while .
(After taking bath, Arjun comes back to his cabin. He sees Aaradhana sleeping in her chair)
Arjun goes near her
Arjun - Aaradhana I don't know how can you sleep in office where you and I are alone,even all the window shutters are locked. Are you not afraid that I'll do something to you
Aaradhana ( in sleep) - You cannot do anything to me. Don't make noise Arjun and let me sleep for a while.
Arjun - What ? How can you be so confident? What if I kiss you?
Arjun doesn't gets any reply
When Arjun was about to kiss her , Aaradhana wakes up and shout.
Aaradhana take a book she kept near by and starts beating him
Aaradhana - You rascal, Tell me what were you trying to do?
( Arjun runs and she chases him)
Arjun goes near the window shutter
Arjun - If you come near me I'll open the shutter.Just think what will others think when they see you beating me . I took bath just now and waters are still dropping from my hair. Think a little Aaradhana think.
Aaradhana (shouts) - You... pervert
Arjun(laughs)- You calling me pervert right..Mmmmm. Pervert ?...You know what perverts like to do?
(Arjun starts moving near her)
Aaradhana - Arjun, Don't , Don't come near me.
( Arjun moves closer to her )
Aaradhana steps backwards.
Arjun goes closer to her. She hits his chair.Arjun bends closer to her and she bends backwards.
( Aaradhana closes her eyes)
Arjun grabs his shirt in his chair and starts wearing it.
Arjun finishes his dressing . (Aaradhana has her eyes still closed)
Arjun moves close to her ,he could hear that her heart is beating fast
He carsess her cheeks and moves closer to her ear.
Arjun - Open your eyes you filthy minded girl. Who is telling me pervert ha pzz ? ( He gives a light smile)
Aaradhana opens her eyes on hearing this
Aaradhana beats him at his chest and tells ,"I am telling you only. You pervert CEO "
Arjun - Apologise me now for what you said.
Aaradhana- Never
(she didn't speak to him for the rest of the day, when he tried to speak other then work she avoided)
Evening At Aaradhana Apartment
Chinamma -Aara come dear, I'll do dressing for your hand
Aaradhana - No chinamma, I'll do myself.
Chinamma - How will do by yourself?.
Aaradhana- No Chinamma .I'll do myself.
Chinamma - Common Aaradhana !!!
(she holds her right hand and finds her ring missing)
Chinamma - Where is your ring Aara?
Aaradhana- Chinamma , my hand was paining so I removed.
Chinamma(shouts) - Why did you remove it Aara? You should not remove it. Wear it now ok?
Aaradhana starts searching her bag. She find the zip is opened where she put the ring after doing Arjun a massage .
Aaradhana - Chinamma , I put my ring in this zip, but the zip is open now and it's missing.
Chinamma ( in anger) - Aara ? Why are you so careless. Its been only one day since your engagement got over. I thought that you are a responsible girl. But you disappointed me. What will Karmegam think if he gets to know about this?
(Karmegam enters suddenly)
Karmegam - What will I think if I get to know what? What's happening here?
chinamma and Aaradhana gets panicked.
Karmegam - Aaradhana Tell me what happened
Aaradhana - My ring is missing.
Karmegam ( in angry voice) - Aaradhana, only one day is over since our engagement happened . How could you be so careless? You can tell me directly if you don't want this engagement. You don't have to do this?
( Chinamma and Aaradhana gets shocked seeing his behaviour. Karmegam notice this changes his face expression)
Karmegam - Aaradhana, Sorry for blaming you. The ring that I put your hand is very precious. It's of my grandmother's. Though it's only 20,000 it's more than 100 crores for me and my family.
Chinamma (in anger) -See, Its not an ordinary engagement, it's more precious. I don't know what will you do, but I want the ring back in your hand tomorrow.
Aaradhana( in worried voice) - Ok chinamma..Sorry Karmegam I 'll find the ring at any cost tomorrow.
( Next day in office)
A janitor finds a ring ( Aaradhana ring) in front of Arjun room while sweeping.
Janitor gives the ring to Arjun.
Arjun checks the ring. He gets to know that it belongs to Aaradhana
( Janitor starts leaving the room)
Arjun - Wait....
( Janitor turns back)
Arjun - Don't tell anyone. That you found the ring .
Janitor - But why Sir?
Arjun - Do as you are instructed.
Janitor tells OK and leaves the room.
Aaradhana searches all the place in office where she went .Only Arjun's room is pending.
Aaradhana enters Arjun room
Aaradhana starts scrolling her eyes around the room to find ring
Arjun understands that her eyes are searching for her ring.
Arjun- Ms.Aaradhana , Good Morning.
Aaradhana (still searching her ring) - Good Morning Sir.
Arjun- Why are you absent minded ?. What's wrong? Are you looking for ...
( Before he could complete)
Aaradhana ( in worried voice)- I lost the ring which belongs to my fiance grandmother.
Arjun (in mind) - I thought of returning the ring back to you. You want that ring back because it belongs to your fiance's grand Mother. How can you call him as your 'Fiance' ,when your engagement happened with me. Still you didn't realise that our engagement is completed ? Why are you so dummy you idiot? . Now you'll get the ring tomorrow only.
Aaradhana starts searching the ring in the office.
Arjun - Ms. Aaradhana, you can check it during your break time. Come here. I have important tasks for you
Aaradhana goes near him half mindedly.
Arjun tells her ,her tasks.
Aaradhana does those things half mindedly.
Arjun ( Sees her half minded) - Ms. Aaradhana, you were more punctual in your work.Your mind got distracted because of the ring. These tasks are more important . Please do it seriously. I don't like any reworks and you know that pretty well.
Aaradhana - Sorry Sir. I'll do my work now.
Arjun (in mind) - What happened to you Aaru, that you are taking all my talks seriously. The way you are behaving now is like how used to behave while you are in college .
Anyways I'll return your ring tomorrow only.
Aaradhana completes her work early and starts searching her ring.
Arjun- "Look wherever you want. You'll find it if you search in the right place "
( He then places his hands in right side pocket of his pant and smirks)
7 pm .Outside Arjun cabin:
Aaradhana still searching for her ring.
Aaradhana sees janitor and stops the her
Aaradhana- Did you see a ring anywhere?
janitor - No madam
(Janitor sees her getting worried. She sees Arjun who signals her to tell)
Janitor - Ah Madam I found a ring in morning outside CEO office. I gave it to the CEO.
(Aaradhana gets angry and gets inside Arjun cabin)
Aaradhana - Arjun , Where is my ring? I know it's with you. Return it back
Arjun thinks to make fun of her
Arjun- Yes I do have. What will I get back in return if I give you the ring?
Aaradhana - You had the ring ,still you didn't inform me. You also know how I was worried because of that
Arjun- So what? you didn't ask me right?
Aaradhana- Please return it back Arjun. I'll do as you say.
Arjun- Is it? , then ask me sorry for calling me pervert
Aaradhana -Sorry Arjun. Now please give me the ring .
Arjun didn't expect that she'll apologise in a fraction of second.
Arjun - I am not satisfied. Do 10 situps and ask me Sorry.
Aaradhana does 10 sit-ups by asking sorry.
Arjun gets more shocked
Aaradhana ( still doing sit-ups with tears) - You are not satisfied still right?. Stop me when you are satisfied. But give me the ring.
Arjun who didn't expect this goes near her and stops her doing sit-ups. He wipes her tears .
Arjun - I didn't know you will take it this seriously. I am Sorry.
He takes ring from his pocket.
Arjun- Show me your hand Aaradhana.
Aaradhana shows her hand.
Arjun moves his hands towards her's to wear her ring.
When he was about to wear.
Aaradhana -Arjun . Stop it. You cannot make me wear this ring
Arjun (in pissed voice)- Why? Is it because it's your fiance's grandmother.
Aaradhana - It's not like that
Arjun - Then what?
Aaradhana (in broken voice) - It's...Its my engagement ring
Arjun (shocked ) - What?.
Aaradhana - Yes..It happened yesterday night.
Arjun gives her the ring with broken heart
Aaradhana leaves his office getting the ring.
Arjun gets shattered completely. He starts throwing things in his table in anger
Arjun leaves his office after a while.
Arjun home:
Arjun (in cold voice) - Amma, Anitha where are you people ?
Poorva - What happened Arjun? Why are you shouting like this?
Arjun( in cold voice) - I want my engagement to done this Saturday
Poorva - Today is Thursday Arjun. We have to purchase rings and we have to invite people and it cannot be done in a day.
Arjun- Amma , I don't want any grand engagement. I want it to be simple as of Aaradhana. Only difference she didn't invite us for her engagement but we'll invite them.
Poorva - Stop it Arjun. You don't how Urmila and Rani was sorry for not inviting us.
Arjun- Whatever.. Anyways my engagement must happen this Saturday. And regarding ring I 'll take your Rani with me for purchasing it. Everything sorted right?
Poorva - It's not like that Arjun.We should see good day, good time for engagement . We cannot rush like this
Arjun(in cold voice) - Not anymore amma. I want my engagement to held on Saturday and that's final.
Poorva who don't have any choice tells - Ok Arjun. Since you decided already we'll have it on Saturday.
Arjun -Good. Amma don't forget to invite your Rani's " so called fiance "
(Arjun goes to his room)
Poorva - Anitha, I think Arjun is took this decision in haste. I am sure he'll regret later because of this.

Shaktivel calls Anitha
Shaktivel - My queen, You know where I am now?
Anitha - Where are you Shaktivel?
Shaktivel - Guess where?
Anitha - Are you here?

Anitha goes to the door and hugs him tightly.
Arjun who was in the hall gets happy on seeing her sister's happiness
Arjun(clears throat) - Excuse me ,I am here. Can you stop romancing now.
Anitha (hugs shaktivel tightly )- We will continue What will you do now?. If you don't want to see you go away from here.
( Arjun goes near Anitha and knocks her head)
Arjun - Mr. Shaktivel Karmegam, your wife's starts to become more notty recently. I have to control her as her brother. Please forgive for knocking her head without your permission.
Shaktivel ( hugs her even tighter )- Brother in law, Now Your sister's husband also became notty . Will you knock me too?
