Chapter 1: Chapter 1 - " Dream Interview or Nightmare"
So finally i am doing this, "Jenny" told her friend "Arne", "I can't believe this i am taking her Interview". She was talking about Country's best Author "Kaira". Within just 3 years, She published 4 novels and everytime she was awarded as "Best Selling Author". But much to everyone's dismay she never attended any Award function nor She gave any interview. Very less was known about "Kaira" but yet everyone loved her thrilling novels. And on of sudden she agreed to give an interview to Jenny.
"Okay, I will ask her about the struggles, her lifestyle, her side work, omg everything, this will be my best interview". Jenny told Arne while walking towards parking alot. "I don't understand, why after 4 years she would give interview when all these years she never interacted with anyone", Arne asked. "Who doesn't loves the limelight", Jenny replied, and "moreover she is the best selling author, I can't miss this chance", Jenny continued. "Alright, all the best, let me drop you to her house" Arne tells her friend.
"Okay, here you go, just call me I'll pick you up" Arne told Jenny as she dropped somewhere near Kaira's house. "But why don't you want me to drop just outside her house, where does she lives?" "Oh She told me not to take anyone with me so you'll have to leave" Jenny asked Arne, "Are you sure, I Don't feel okay" Arne said, "Oh please, Don't worry, she will just send me the location, you are just overthinking. I'll call you when i get free", Jenny said, and Arne left. As she got the location, she started moving into the streets and reached almost across the city, and there she found a very old bunglow. As she looked into her phone, "Oh, it's Kaira's bunglow", Jenny murmured, much to her unexpectations, no watchman outside the bunglow. "A lady who earns so much by writing novels, has been best selling author, Why still she lives in such an old and filthy bunglow". Jenny walked through greasy and noisy gate, and reached her door. As she rang the bell, she noticed door was already open. And she entered, calling "Miss Kaira?", "Are you there?"
With no Light inside, she walked inside calling "Miss Kaira"? "Are you there?". All she can see antique show pieces all around and mannequins. "What a unique interest she has" she murmured" as she entered. Miss Kaira are you there? she again called. As she turned around, Kaira was just standing behind her, to Jenny's shock. I am so sorry i didnt realised you are here. With a smirky smile Kaira said, "Its okay, I was waiting for you only". "Come here". As they walked towards living room all Jenny was able to see was different mannequins and antique pieces. "Ma'am It seems like you like maniqunes". Kaira turned around, smiled, "Yes I do", she tells and asks her to sit and lits a candle.
Dark rooms, scary mannequines were scaring Jenny. "Ma'am can we switch on the light?" Jenny asked. "No, I don't like Light", Kaira replied angrily, much to Jenny's shock. "Be comfortable", Kaira asked Jenny
So Ma'am, "Do you live with your family?", "No, I don't have A family, I live alone here" Kaira replied.
"In so much years why didn't to interacted with anyone?" Jenny asked, Kaira replied, "I love being here alone, This is the place which helps me to write my thrilling novels". As the interview continued, Jenny got a call from Arne, "Jenny, reach fast, boss want's John and he is nowhere to be seen, he is not even picking his call", Arne told. "What he never does that. Where is he?" Jenny asked nervousily. "I dont know, i am afraid, please reach fast" Arne asked. "Yes i am coming" Jenny told Arne as the call disconnected.
"Sorry ma'am i will have to leave, We will make it some other time, thank you so much for your time" Jenny tells Kaira as she hurridly stood up. With a Smirky Smile Kaira said "Its okay". As Jenny moved towards the door, she heard some noises upstairs. She moved her back, as she listened to noises, as someone is asking for help. "I live alone here" Kaira's flashback was there in Jenny's mind. Shockingly and scared she moved out of the house, and moved her back to see the bunglow and could see Kaira staring at her from the room window upstairs and smiling.
