Chapter 2: The start
On a friday noon,after school was over for 6th graders,mia,malory,angelina,jaylen,and other people in the school walked out.Most people were in groups of their own friends,and everyone whose ride was here or was walking home went their way.mia,malory,angie,jaylen,collin,and about 10 other people were the only ones left at the school when it was aroud 3:50pm,mia,and jaylen were still there because they were waiting for thei day care van,angie and malory were planning to walk home together after mia,and jaylen left.
Angie:"oh,i can't leave with you malory,my mom just called and said that she is going to come pick me up"
Malory:"that's okay,since your not going to be here then mrs sofia(the daycare lady)can drop me off since my house is next to the day care"
After about 5 minutes,angie's mom came to pick her up,now there was only mia ,jaylen ,malory ,collin ,and a remiender of 6 people.Malory went up to talk to collin while mia and jaylen were playing games.
Malory:"collin,i heard you and angie broke up for the 4th time,are you guys going to date for the fifth time,and will it be the final time or not"
Collin:"I don't know bruh,but the 4th time we got together was only because mia asked me,and she has never asked me to do anything for her before"
Malory:"you really should watch yourself,i am not one to say anything,but you keep looking at mia which is weird considering the fact that you are dating her best friend"
Collin:"i don't look at her,your probablly mistaken"
Malory:"probably,i mean it's not like you like mia or anything like that"
When collin didn't say anything to her comment,malory was quite for a few minutes and said:"you can't possibly like mia right?"
Collin:"W-WHAT,NO,that's impossible"
Malory:"oh,you do like mia,oh she is going to freak when i tell her"
Collin:"wait,malory,don't"
But malory had already run far and was next to mia as of now
Malory:"mia,guess what"
Mia:"what?"
Malory:"collin likes you"
Mia:"w-what?"
Malory:"yeah,he really likes you"
Mia:"n-no,he's dating angie"
Malory:"Remember that when angie told him to be her boyfriend in class,he looked at you before he answered her,at first i taught nothing of it but now,oh~"
Mia:"n-no,th-that's not right"
Jaylen:"oh wow,collin likes you but is dating your best friend,and you like collin's best friend,so complicated"
Mia:"i am just going to pretend that i didn't hear anything you guys said and go ask collin to get back with angie"
Mia went up to collin
Collin(nervous):"d-did,malory say anything to you"
Mia:"what,no,i juat came because angie got depression because of this again,can you please get back with her,just for this last time,please"
Collin:"oh,sure"
malory came running over and said
Malory:"mia,didn't you hear me earlier"
Mia:"you said a lot of things,which one are you talking about"
Malory:"i said,collin likes you"
Malory said that in a loud voice,so the rest of the people around looked over,and mia felt so embarresed,so she rushed back to the bench and played her game like nothing happened,collin also immediately started walking home,since he was originally only waiting for mia,to leave first,Lucky for mia,her van arrived just 2 minutes later,she and jaylen got on the van,because malory's elder sister cam to pick her up a minute ago.
Jack:"you good mia,you kind of look worried"
Everyone at the daycare knew of mia's crush towards jack,even jack himself,but since mia never personally told him thoose words,everyone just kinds of brushes past it,although they do pair mia,and jack together alot.
Mia:"it's nothing"she said while taking a seat next to jack,jaylen who was sitting on her other side said:"sure,nothing"
Mia:"jaylen,nobody is going to think your mut or deaf if you don't say anything you know"
Melissa:"jaylen what happened"
Mia:"nothing major"
Jaylen:"um,yes it was"
Jack:"what happened jaylen"
Mia:"don't say it"
Jaylen:"he deserves to know,after all it does involve his best friend"
Melissa:"collin?"
Jaylen:"yes"
Jack:"well,what happened with collin"
Jayeln:"nothing major,just the fact that your best friend has a crush on a person who has a crusch on you,while dating her bestfriend"
Melissa:"wow,that is a complicated square"
Jaylen:"yep,it was so funny when malory blurted out that collin likes mia"
Mia:"that was unessessary"
Jaylen:"they asked,so what do you think about it jack"
Jack:"i'm kinda shocked,but honestly i expected this to happen sooner"
Melissa:"what,collin liking mia,did you know"
Jack:"no,mia getting hit on"
Mia:"but i don't want to get hit on"
Melissa:"do you even know what we are talking about"
Mia:"your talking about me getting hit"
Jack:"(huh)yes,but not literally,i mean you getting flirted with"
Mia:"oh,well you should have just said that"
Jack:"So if he asked you out would you have said yes"
Mia:"but why would i want to go out when i am in the van"
Melissa:"(laughing)he means on a date,you know,romantically~"
Mia:"oh~,i would have said no"
Jaylen:"why,is it because you like jack"
Mia:"no,but because he is dating angie,and i'm too young to date"
Melissa:"can't relate,i had my first boyfreind when i was 6,and jack over there had his first girlfriend when he was 5"
Mia:"good for him,and you"
Melissa:"your not mad"
MIa:"why would i be"
Melissa:"right,of course you wouldn't"
Mia:"huh?"
Jack:"never mind,ignore melissa"
The rest of the ride to the daycare was pretty calm,and uneventful.
THis is the beggining when they were all 10years old,except for melissa who was 11.
