Chapter 3: First Wish
"So uhh.. Before I say what I wish for, would it be okay to ask a few questions?"
"Go ahead." God nodded.
"Cool! First of all, will it be possible for me to be reincarnated instead of going to heaven?"
"What's this, do you wish to be reincarnated?"
"Don't mind it, it was just a passing thought."
"Hmm.. As unfortunate as it is, reincarnating is not possible as it will cause some major imbalance in your world, causing space-time rifts to appear which eventually leads to the world's end."
"Oh, I kind of assumed that stuff will happen but what I meant was reincarnating to another world." Chris clarifies his first question.
"So that's what it is, if that is the case then it is totally possible to be reincarnated without much affect to the world you're reincarnating to."
"Perfect! Then, will my memories disappear after I get reincarnated?"
"Your memories will disappear because your body will not be the same as before, which means your brain will also be replaced by a new one."
"But what about my soul?" Chris asks out of curiosity.
"It is common practice to cleanse a soul before going to heaven or hell, and even when going through reincarnation." God explains.
"I see, I guess that's logical."
"Do you have no more questions? If so, we can proceed to your wishes."
"Ah wait a minute, I still have one last question, more like something I just want to clarify. Can I really wish for anything?"
"I can grant any wish you have, young man. However, I shall not grant wishes filled with malicious intent." God said with an intimidating look.
"There won't be anything like that so I don't really mind."
"Are you finally ready to tell me your wishes?"
"Let's see... I don't have anymore questions I can think of so, yeah, I guess I am."
"Very well, tell me, what is your first wish?"
"My first wish will be for me to be reincarnated in a world filled with magic."
"... Such a shame, I was planning to make you my personal assistant but.. oh well, I shall look for a pregnant woman who will give birth to you in a world that meets your criteria."
"As a baby? It would've been nice to be reincarnated as a kid though."
"If that is what you wish for I can do so, I will not consider it as your second wish, think of it as a service. If you don't mind having 2 souls in your body that is." God warns Chris.
"That would be pretty creepy so I'm okay with being a baby, but don't babies have souls too?"
"It is fine since the souls of babies are yet to be tainted so it is just basically a replacement of soul, I would take its soul to heaven and put yours into the body."
"Just curious but, can't it be done with older souls?"
"If we were to do that, we will have to immediately take the soul to hell, stripping away their chances to go to heaven, which violates the Heavenly Law and revoke our qualifications to become True God."
"I understand, although it seems like there are more of you guys, I won't ask anymore about it since I don't have anything to do with your affairs."
"I assume we can proceed to your second wish?"
"Yeah sure, my second wish is—"
