Chapter 2: 2 Worth
Raven could clearly feel that if he ever reply badly, there's a good chance he will be receiving a punch on the face.
"Honestly, I don't know. You can't put price on people. Fine, let's do it this way. You're telling me we can be rich, how about by the end of the day you show me at least fifty thousand. Fifty thousand of your own money not borrowed, by then I will believe you, I promise." (Raven)
"If I show you that amount, you will believe me huh." (Bert)
"Hey man, I already promised." (Raven)
"Okay, your words not mine. I should have led with this. Solid proof is the best after all." (Bert)
Bert lifted up his bag again and kept his hands inside for a few seconds before placing stacks of bills in front of Raven.
"There you go, fifty thousand. I still have more if you want. As a matter of fact, keep it, it's yours now." (Bert)
"Did you rob a bank or something?" (Raven)
"Do you think I can rob a bank? Your my partner now, go ahead and go to class. I'm skipping today. By the way, meet me at the ice cream shop around 7pm, you need to see the real thing after all." (Bert)
Just like that, Bert left Raven alone and swiftly run downstairs. Raven is still confused and dumbfounded with what happened, however, he can't refute the proof his friend gave him.

RAVEN'S POV
I went back to class after that weird encounter and honestly I still don't know what to say. That idiot went away leaving me with vague information.
I tried to put my mind back in order but everytime I look at my bag, I can imagine having an amount of fifty thousand and that went on for the rest of the day.
Coincidentally, class is suspended for afternoon classes because of a General Meeting. I don't have anywhere else but home.
I live alone at an apartment close to school with my parents busy working in the province. I like the feeling of freedom and independence so I decided to enroll here.
I am no that bright, not that dumb either and I do things as efficient and beneficial to me as much as possible.
Wearing my home clothes, I stared intently at stacks of money on the table. For a moment I was overwhelmed by greed as I list down possible things I can buy with this. I stopped myself as I realized that maybe this is just a prank. Just in case, I decided not to use the money.
It must be anxiety that made time go past so suddenly as I look at the clock. It was already quarter to seven.
I am a man of my word so I always keep my promises plus I don't know how to get off the brand new watch out of my arm so I really need to meet up with Bert as soon as possible.
There's only one ice cream shop near my apartment and the only place we ever hang out as always.
I immediately found him sitting at the back of the shop and I almost didn't recognize him with his appearance. He is wearing brand new clothes, stylish sunglasses and this friend of mine actually had a haircut.
"Good. I knew you would be right on time. Let's go to my place, it's safer that way." (Bert)
"Can I at least have an ice cream or something before we go?" (Raven)
"Don't worry, where we are going, you can eat all the ice cream you want. My treat, of course." (Bert)
If he's buying then there is nothing for me to complain. I simply followed my friend outside.
This fellow actually bought a brand new bike and it looks like the latest model.
"How much did you really get, tell me!" (Raven)
"Enough hehehe. Stop asking questions for now and get in here already." (Bert)
We didn't drive that long since his house isn't that far away. Bert said to transform the back the device into tablet form by saying the command 'Tablet Mode'.
"Okay, now just unlock the tablet and issue the command 'DESTINATION LOBBY'. " (Bert)
With hesitation, I did what he asked me to and within a second my surroundings started to change. It was a new and magical feeling.
The place is surely out of this world. Ten thousand people could easily fit here with room to spare. Bert also magically appeared beside me with a smug look on his face.
"Pretty awesome, huh. Come with me, will go to my personal viewing space." (Bert)
We came inside an elevator but instead of going up or down, it seems that it is going to right or left. Finally, it stopped in section 3016.
Just as Bert described earlier, the room is amazing.
"Do you believe me now?" (Bert)
I just gave him simple nod in response.
"If you are amazed now, wait until you see this. 'Gladiator Mode On: Select Minotaur Series #4'." (Bert)
After saying the command, little by little Bert increased in size and change form into Blue Minotaur holding a blue club. It looked menacing and super cool at the same time.
"Hehe this is my Main Gladiator. I tried doing this outside of here but it seems it can only be activated in the Grand Coliseum. Don't worry, since you also have a tablet, I will guide you later to get you one." (Bert)
Bert totally transformed himself entirely into a Minotaur, from his form down to his voice. Hearing that I will also have the chance to get one, I became excited.
"Let's go now, I mean what the heck are we waiting for?" (Raven)
Bert return to his human form and went near the gigantic screen.
"Actually, we do have someone we need to wait. Before that though, I need to show the best thing I discovered here. 'Screen On: Room Service Menu." (Bert)
