Chapter 16: Life Happens
Nakakapagod, nakakawalang gana, nakakatakot, nakakapangamba...
Life happens. There are things we cannot control, and that's okay.
We're only wasting our time and energy worrying on things that only God has control over.
It gets tiring sometimes but He's in control. It gets scary sometimes but He's in charge. It's making us anxious sometimes but He holds our future.
Trials of life are not placed there to take us out but make us. He's working everything for our good– the good and the bad, the highs and lows, open doors and closed ones, everything.
If you're tired, God is saying this to you, "Come to me, I will give you rest. My perfect love casts out fear."
As long as you stay closer to God, your relationship, your job, your family, your ministry and whatever you do, will all work out perfectly.
When everything else fails, God doesn't. So why worry? He's got this. He's got you.
Remind yourself this when worry tries to creep in,
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
