Chapter 3: Invasion
In a cluttered hallway two men in armor and rifles in their hands were running with dust thick in the air.
BOOM!!! The room shook and debris fell from the celing
"What are they?" Asked the Corporal.
"I don't know, but just keep running. It is just you and me Corporal." Responded the Sargeant.
Vaulting over a couch the Corporal spoke, "Sir, I don't know if I- Aaahhh!"
Out of the darkness of a side passage a black and green spiked tail flies in from behind them, stabbing the Corporal through the shoulder and dragging him down the hall
"Corporal!"
BOOM...BOOM BOOM...BOOM. More debris fall all over the place making the dust thicker as part of the ceiling started to fall.
"Click... click click."
The Sargent took cover behind a couch.
"Click... c-c-c-click."
From the hallway in front of him, a tall, slim body with a long spiked tail walks out of the shadows. It has a rounded head decorated in green, with red streaks zig-zagging across the skull, with three long, sharp claws on both hands. It's hands and feet were stained with blood. It makes the clicking sound from deep in its throat.
"C-click. C-c-c-c-click"
It then opens it mouth into four separate sections. The top of the mouth, the bottom, and the left and right. Each section has hundreds of sharp teeth.
"Creeeeeee!!"
Hundreds of other cree sounds in the distance, and the creature takes of another hallway. It had no eyes, but ran on the walls and jumped over obstacles without problem.
"Comand, comand, come in comand." The Sargeant said in a harsh whisper into his radio.
*Static*
"Comand, come in. What are those things?"
*Static* "I-ta-b-ful." *Static*
"Comand. There is heavy interface. Repeat message. Over."
"inco- *static* -eet at rende- *Static* -ver. Court- *static*
"Meet at rendezvous in courtyard. Affirmative. Sargent Ralus over and out."
