Chapter 271: Why is she smiling?

"Why is she smiling?"

"Is she really that accepting of her death?"

Those were some of the thoughts in the minds of the assassins. However, suddenly, their eyes went wide open.

"Gurgh…"

The leader glanced at the man standing next to him. "What's wrong?" 

The next thing he knew, the man fell down. 

No, that was wrong. The man's body split into multiple parts and blood spurted out onto the leader's face. 

Instead of being frozen to his place like one would normally be, the leader turned around, and as if they were dominoes, his men fell one by one, all in the same gruesome manner, as parts of their bodies fell one by one until they were heaps of body parts on the floor. 

The leader was scared now. He quickly turned to glance at the princess, but the princess was still sitting there nonchalantly. There was no sign that she used any spells. Besides, if she did, he would have been able to sense the aura.
