Santina reminded the young man for one last time.

"Yes. I understand. I am fully aware of it."

The other party said. His tone was like that of a person resigning to his faith.

A man saying 'so be it' was what they saw from Allan. He no longer had hope for a better future so he resigned to what was before him.

Meanwhile, after hearing the resolve in the young man's previous answers as though nothing would be able to change his answer anymore, Mikael nodded his head and rose from his seat.

Santina also moved away from the table and turned around to face Mikael.

The two saw the same look of uneasiness reflecting from each of their faces, but they knew that there was nothing they could do anymore.
