Chapter 27: Chapter 26
Ellie was helping Miranda cook the last of the dishes as Asmodious and the boys were in the main room surprisingly Remy and James were there too. Ellie wondered when those two had gotten so close to Asmodious and the boys..
As the night went on and the boys were sent to bed and Miranda followed suit and James had left early on. It was just Ellie, Asmodious and Remy left. Asmodious and Remy were playing chess whilst Ellie watched. She really enjoyed watching them play it was soothing. The warm fire heated the room to a cosy temperature and Ellie felt herself drift to sleep.
In her dream she was dancing to a haunting melody. She was alone in a circle of light surrounded by the empty darkness. A voice penetrated the darkness..
"I have found you my queen. It is time to join me. Come to me. Burn your world and come to me."
A handsome man stepped into the light but the light did not touch him. His very existence made the light tremble. Ellie stopped and looked at the man. His horns were white instead of black his hair was a silver colour, short and messy, he was tall and elegant his crimson eyes greedily staring at her as if to consume her very essence. She felt very familiar with this man, his sharp face captivated her. She wanted to fall into his arms and be one with him...But, a voice in her head told her this was dangerous. A little blue light danced in front of her eyes whispering...this light was familiar, this voice was too.. He beckoned her again.
"Let me touch you my queen, all will become clear.." He reached out his hand and waited..
The lights whispering became violent. Ellie couldn't hear or understand what it was saying but it was clear...it was a warning. This man was dangerous. He was always shrouded in darkness.
"I..i..d-dont think I'm th-the one your looking for...please leave.." Ellie tried to sound confident but her voice shook with fear.
His eyes smiled eagerly as if her fear made him happy.
"I am Finch, you belong to me. You were born for me. You are my queen and I would know you anywhere. See your mark gives you away..." He sneered staring at her hand.
Upon her hand a black cresent moon appeared. What was this? Where did it come from? The mark began to glow emanating a strange aura of shadow. It began to engulf her.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! STOP!!!!! "
Ellie's other hand began to glow. Upon it was a bright red sun. The red flames fought back the darkness. The man's face changed from joyful to angry in a matter of seconds..
"How!!? You couldn't have met him!!! How?? Why is this happening!! You belong to me!! And only ME!!" He screamed angrily and went to grab Ellie but the fire roared and became a sheild between Ellie and the man.
The man howled and great large white wings erupted from his back his features began to distort as he turned into a great white dragon. But he wasn't a white dragon..The darkness that surrounded him attached to his scales and he became a black dragon with crimson eyes..the very essence of evil. Ellie's body shuddered the temperature of the flames pierced her body.
"I will reveal your true nature..you will have no choice but to find me..they will turn their backs on you..You are MINE!!!" He growled
Ellie staggered backwards and felt herself falling into the darkness...voices were shouting..The roar of the flames muffled the voices and darkness fell...
(*Note from author: Hey everyone hope your enjoying so far. Sorry it took so long for this chapter of had a few issues at home. In case it's not obvious this is my first time writing a story like this I really hope you are enjoying.
