Character Descriptions + Backgrounds (CHAPTER 11+)
I just realized I never really described certain characters, and so from here on, whenever I forgot to do so, they will be put here, and separated by a line telling you what chapter they debut in so you do not spoil yourself. I will also include the basic background of pre-existing fictional characters for those who wouldn't know them. THIS WILL BE UPDATED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE SERIES.

John Constantine (DC Universe)
6 foot tall, short blond hair, generally unkempt man. Likes to wear trench coats and other get-ups that would remind you of a stereotypical detective. Meddles in the dark arts constantly to deal with demons and other magical creatures. Everything that can think in hell, generally knows John Constantine, and either hates or fears him. Not only is this because he's a tricky bastard, but he's kind of a brash asshole. Has a tendency to try and do his best to help people, and fuck up royally and get them killed. It's happened so many times I'm not joking. Due to the constant fuckups of his life, he drinks very heavily, and has a lot of flings every now and then, including an on and off relationship with Zatanna. Major member of Justice League Dark.
Zatanna Zatara (DC Universe)
Shoulder length long black hair, outfit varies from performance magician outfits to, skimpier varieties. Expert female sorceress whose expertise runs in the family, like her father. Who John managed to kill trying to help. Yeah kinda explains why her relationships with him never last. Sometimes portrayed to be better at raw magic than Constantine, some times not. I'd like to think she is because John just fits more to be an all rounder with all kinds of systems to fuck magical beings over. In some canons, she's actually joined the Justice League, if not the Justice League Dark. Generally a very nice and outgoing person.
Etrigan (DC Universe)
An ancient Demon who has been fused to the human, Jason Blood. Big yellow scaly monster man. They kinda just swap places for whatever the situation needs. Merlin's his half brother, the demon Belial is his father, Trigon is his grandfather, Raven is... his aunt? It's really fucking weird family tree. He was bound to Jason by Merlin after attempting a rebellion, and when Merlin asked Hell for someone to protect Camelot, Belial just said "Fuck it take Etrigan as his punishment". After being fused with Jason Blood, Jason's girlfriend, a powerful sorceress and half-sister of King Authur, Madame Xanadu, decided to keep Etrigan in line by dating him too. Not sure if that counts as cheating or not. But now Etrigan is a good guy, kind of.

Ra's al Ghul
6 foot 5 well built man with short black hair that sometimes has gray streaks. Technically a bad guy as the founder of the League of Assassins, but he knows when to be a bad guy and when the line is crossed, as shown by his disgust of Joker brutalizing the young Robin before he became the Red Hood, and genuine remorse to Batman after he's found 'dead'. He founded his organization a VERY long time ago, and every time his body ages too much, gets to injured, or straight up just DIES, he gets dipped in his convenient Lazarus pit and fixes all of that. Most people go mad after bathing in it, but he takes it like a champ and done so so many times, it may very well have physically strengthened him.
