"This…" Maddy was troubled.
Upon seeing the hesitant expression of Maddy, the burly man looks calm and uninterested.
Seeing that The man did not seem interested anymore, Maddy frowned.
Then he saw a badge post pinned on the burly man chest pocket, Maddy's eye lit.
"Five million dollars, if you're not willing then I'll be taking my leave. However, if you're willing to give me this beast soul as a gift, I'll give you some more valuable information and a complete map of Horn Mountain." Maddy gave an incentive. After seeing the Burly man still appearing hesitant, he turned his body and prepared to depart.
Maddy was embarrassingly short on funds. He didn't have a lot of money to spend on the beast soul, while he had an inheritance fund it is still under processing and it may take a week to get an access, since Maddy needs a lot of experience points every second is important.
It was not necessarily a must to have a beast soul, however, it was still essential for Maddy during the early stages of the grinding.
"W-wait, hold up!" Seeing Maddy about to leave, the Man hurriedly called out to him. Thus, he really wanted to be as informed as possible about the area. In the eyes of the Burly man, Maddy certainly did appear to be a very knowledgeable person.
Maddy glanced back at him. This Man does seem to be an honest person. I was able to secure a weapon beast soul, and I didn't even need to spend a single penny. Recalling this, Maddy was in a great mood.
"Do you..by chance have a pen and paper?"
"Yes, follow me."
Maddy followed the man into a rather huge house.
"Do these things alright?"
"Its enough.''
Maddy had some skills in drawing, when he was on earth aside from wanting to create a game the other reason why he took IT is that he wanted to make an animation, and to be a good animator one need to have a rather good drawing skill.
So drawing a map based on what the shadow hack displayed, it only took him a few minutes.
Glancing at his drawing Maddy was a little unsatisfied but he didn't want to waste more time.
"Seeing as you're being sincere. If you follow the river here, you would find a huge tree here. near the tree there is a huge cave.Don't...enter here. If you really did head over there looking to train, then not even within five minutes passing, three Sacred blood Plant Pantherhorn would appear. A single joint attack from them could instantly kill a team, fully equipped." Maddy casually informed.
Upon hearing these words, the Burly man instantly broke out in a cold sweat as he felt a great chill run through his heart. When Someone informed him that those coordinates were a good place to hunt, he truly intended to head over there and try his luck. He never expected that not only were these coordinates false, they were also dangerous as well. If he hadn't hurriedly called Maddy back… one could only imagine the consequences. It would have truly been an injustice if he had been killed in such a way.
Originally, the Man still felt a bit regretful giving away the beast soul. However, at present, he became incredibly overjoyed. There was basically no comparison between his life and a single beast soul. This isn't like a game where Dying in the would result in losing a level along with losing a random piece of equipment, dying here means no more chance for revival. It turns out being kind and sincere really does have its own benefits.
"Thank you," the Man sincerely expressed his gratitude.
Maddy couldn't help smiling. The person before him was forced to give him a skill book free of charge, and he still thanked him in the end, although maps are valuable Maddy got it effortless—this was truly adorable.
Although he felt this Big man was very stupid, Maddy had a good impression of him. While equipping the beast soul in his hands, he muttered, "We each take what we need."
Just as Maddy turned around and started to leave, the Man called out to him, "Brother, what's your name? Why don't we save each other's number? That way, if I ever meet up with a problem I can't solve, I'll still be able to ask you for advice."
"Sure, but it'll cost you. I'm not one who offers a free service," Maddy replied. He definitely didn't want to give out information for free.
"That's not a problem," the Man replied straightforwardly.
"Alright then, my name is Maddy Li." If this person was able to give a sufficient price, Maddy felt there would be no harm in sharing some information. He'll just consider it earning a bit of extra income.
"My name is Bai Xiong, though all my friends just call me Big Bear," the Burly man named Bai Xiong replied. He had already considered Maddy to be one of his friends.
"That's fine. I have a few matters to attend to. So, I'll be leaving first. See you later!" Maddy said his goodbyes to Bai Xiong and walked over to the west gate .
The shelter has 2 gates and one port.
The Northern gate would lead one to the gathering point of Plant frog— The Marsh of Oblivion.
The port, although called port the residents called it — The Restricted Area, due to occasional beast tide.
That's the reason why the defense in the port is much better than the two gates.
And lastly the Western gate, if one is a weak or simply a newbie it was recommended to exit here.
And if one would carefully follow the tracks it would lead to the gathering point of the Red Mantises —The Crimson Valley.
