Chapter 2: Outside The Den
2 Months Later...
I yawned laying out in the sun, a new wolf approached me. He lowered his head to get eye contact with me. I sniffed him, mother then cane over, I smelt his smell on her. "Hello pup" the unknown wolf would bark. "This is your father, Elk." "Hello father!" I yipped. Paw trotted over, they were introduced to each other too.
"Elk come along" father said.
"Ok!" I yipped happily.
We galloped down the mountain, he showed me elk. "When you turn a yearling, I will teach you to hunt these creatures." He announced. "Ok father" I said, me and him ran back to the den. My pack was waiting there. They had worried looks on their faces. Everyone was there but Paw. I ran into the den and saw here twitching on the ground. I ran up to her and laid next to her. I can't lose her! She stopped shaking. It was a relief. Soon night came and we all headed into the den for a good nights sleep.
