Chapter 47: Chapter 47. Rough Yet Gentle
He loosened his grip. I panted as I tried to catch my breath, his skeleton hands pulled me closer while the others hand rubbed my face gently, sweeping away the beads of sweat that ran down my face. I enjoyed his caress and stayed still, not moving from his lap as I let his stick return to normal inside of me.
He brought his face slowly and his lips covered mine slowly. His kiss was so warm and soft. He gave me a sweet soothing feeling and caressed my deepest thoughts while his tongue moved slowly in my mouth.
Honestly, I was shocked by his gentleness, he was like a different man from the man who had just punished me earlier. Great energy flows from his kisses but I break it and distance myself. "You don't want it?" he asked.
Actually, it was not I did not want it. I promised him that I would give him human energy to help him get out of here. If I take back the energy that I gave him, doesn't that mean I admit I am not reliable?I placed my head on his chest as my hands gently hugged his waist. "I am your succubus. I am not an unreliable woman," I said.
He grabbed my chin and raised it facing him. "I don't want you to force yourself," he said again.Although his cold expression did not change, I could see his worries clearly from his eyes.
I was surprised by his reaction, I did not think he was worried about me. It feels strange if the famous merciless demon lord can show his concern to me. Is that because I'm his succubus?I kissed his cheek gently and smiled at him. "I'm fine. I'm your succubus, there's no need to worry about me."
He was silent for a few moments, his eyes staring at me deeply. "I never thought you were just my succubus."
I stiffened after hearing his words, my heart pounding. Even I can't cover my surprise expression on my face. He thinks of me more than his succubus? What exactly does that mean?
He took a deep breath and looked away from me. "If you do something that threatens your life like that again I will punish you harder than this."
'He worries me to that extent? I thought he only thinks of me as his trusted subject,' I thought. I could feel my face turning red.
His skeleton hand covered my body tightly while the others rubbed my hair gently. "Lilieth, promise me. Don't even think about throwing your life away for me."
My heart beat faster after hearing his words. I looked down to hide my blushing face. "Yes, my lord."
It felt strange, when I was a human being I thought that demons were evil creatures that had to be removed and the demon lords were the worst of them all. The leader of the bad creatures, but after I lost everything ... I found the cold, cruel demon lord was warmer than the man I once loved. I snuggled closer to him as I looked at his hands which were still bound to his throne ' I promise... I will get you out of here as soon as possible.'
