Chapter 5: "Hello!"
The 'family of three' went in the elevator and went to the highest floor . Junjin was excited to see his father . After they reached the highest floor, the ' family of three ' went straight to Junjie's office .
Changying knocked on the office door . "Hello!" yelled Changying ." Oh hello..." said Junjie . Junjie was excited to meet his ex-wife and his son, then his face darkened when he saw Henry holding hands with Changying.
He accidentally crumbled some documents and files. " Bolin, get me some new documents and the files for case 2z3! yelled Junjie." Papa!" Junjin shouted before hugging Junjie's legs. " Oh hey kiddo, did mommy take you out for lunch yet?"Junjie asked his son. Junjin shooked his head and whispered to Junjie " Mommy wants you to come with us . Junjie said "Oh, you came just this far, wanting me to come .." while he was grinning . " Well if you don't want to its- " said Changying . Henry cutting her off ." It's fine if he can't come, Im still there ." he smiled at Junjie. Junjie was dumbfounded by Henry's protest. He knew that Henry was clearly mocking him in a cliché way ." It's fine , I'll take you guys out for lunch , anyways I wanted to bring you meet grandpa and grandma later."Junjie said to his son . " Oh okay!" Changying said while nodding.
Bolin walked in the office and saw a tall- handsome man in front of him . He did some hand gestures to Junjie about Henry. What it meant was.. [ He's fucking handsome . No wonder you are losing at this battle ] " Oh hey Bolin! You work with Junjie now?!" Changying said to Bolin . " Yeah! Sup dude.." Bolin shakes hands with Henry." Ok Im done with my work, let's go!" said Junjie.
Then, they went for lunch and Bolin joined them too. After filling their empty stomach, they went to the Li Grand Residence. Li Grand Residence was Li Junjie's parents and his little sister's home. Meanwhile, Li Junjie stayed at Li Residence.The grand residence was more bigger and grand-ish than Junjie's property .
After arriving at the Li Grand Residence..
"Sup, mom where's Meihui?!" Junjie greeted his mother.His mother walk pass by and said "Changying where were you in the past 3 years? Your father and I had been worried about you!" Li Meixiang hold Changying in her embrace.The Li's always treated Changying as their own daughter after hearing her mother's biological death when she was dating Junjie. She dated Junjie when she was in highschool.
Changying said while stuttering " But aunty, I'm not your dau-" Li Weisheng cutted her off and said "Daughter-in-law or not your still gonna be our daughter-in-law.We're not letting Junjie dating any women at this time.Your single right?"As Changying thought the Li's still didn't accept the fact that she was divorced with Junjie."No she's taken as I taken her heart" Henry hold Changying's shoulder from behind."Bolin was cringing to Henry's sudden pickupline." Mommy is this my grandparents?" Junjin asked his mother.Bolin stood there with silence. He knew he shouldn't be involved in this drama.
Well this was too much pressure for Changying to handle. Her head started to feel stuffy and heavy.Her legs feel weak and she started to wobble.She can't control her body. On her right side was Henry, her want-to-be flame claiming his rights.On the opposite was her son, he kept hugging her leg. In front of her was her ex-husband's parents who kept nagging about her disappearance . While Junjie was behind her with regrets in his eyes bringing her here.
Then she collapsed and Junjie catched her in time. Suddenly Junjie yelled at them "Would you mind keeping your mouth shut for a second.Shes having a fever and you kept putting shitty pressures on her!" Papa, is mommy dying?" Junjin asked with sorrow in his voice. Junjie frozed and wondered how his son could imagine about her death at this time . Junjie sighed and said "She isn't dying kiddo, mommy fainted because you guys put too much pressure on her.Her body couldn't react that fast." Then Junjie scooped her up and brought to his old room.
After a few hours of rest.She finally woke up in comfy pajamas.She saw Junjie sitting on the chair next to her.She was on the bedside.Junjie hold her hands while he was asleep. Changying chuckled about how he cute and immature he was. Suddenly, Meihui kicked the door. Her impulsive her action startled her brother."Big bro! Why the heck you locked the door for.Are you doing something intimate or what?! yelled Meihui at her big brother." Would you mind lowering your voice at you big sister-in-law?" Junjie asked and sighed."Sister, you okay? What did the doctor said?!" Meihui asked Changying.
Changying shrugged her shoulders . She was unconscious for a few hours.She didn't know who came nor who checked on her.Junjie said "The doctor said because she was under too much pressure, she is probably having a light fever and cramps from her monthly period.."They were still holding hands. Changying was still shaking."Meihui, where's Henry?!" Junjie asked his lil sis."Which one? The one who keeps laughing at you or the one is tall- handsome and dreamy looking guy?"Meihui asked
"The tall one.."Junjie said while tightening his grip to Changying's hand. Meihui frozed and was confused because both of the guys are tall and dreamy.Then she snapped and said "He left and said he's going back to the hotel" . Junjie nodded and used hand gestures for Meihui to leave his room.Meihui realised that he wanted some privacy with her sister-in-law.Meihui nodded and left the room.
After some silence, Changying let go of Junjie's hand."You see, I want-" Junjie was cutted off by Changying . She said "You wanted me to give you a second chance right ? You expect me didn't know about Henry's gang right?It's okay, I'll give you a second chance. Junjie was astonished to hear her perspective of Henry changed.At first he thought Changying was acting all lovey-dovey around Henry but he didn't know that Changying was trying to forget her past.
