(After school)
After school Kei got his stuff and jogged to the tennis courts where he met up with his brother.
As we talked he told me how he had a match with a senpai, and won. Sadly both weren't able to go all out as the senpai, had a leg injury.
(Outside Seigaku academy)
"Echizen Ryoma and Echizen Kei." A half-bald guy asked another guy with a plaster on his cheek.
"Didn't you hear? From what Momoshiro told me, Echizen isn't a normal first year. Even Ryuzaki-sensei said that both of them are quite something. Since it's coming from them, it must be true, right Oishi?" A cat-like third year told Oishi.
Oishi" Well that's true, Kikamaru" Oishi replied.
Fuji" Heh, Echizen and Kei huh. I would like to see them in action." Another third year, Fuji smiled serenely with his eyes closed.
(Tennis courts)
Horio" Hey Echizen, yesterday Momoshiro-senpai's leg was injured so he was only playing at half strength, that's why you were able to beat him. There's no way you could've defeated a Seigaku regular otherwise. Get it? Hey, are you listening? Oi Echizen! Oi! Hey, Echizen are you even listisitnig."
Kei/Ryoma" No at all." They replied simultaneously as Ryoma was tying his shoelaces and Kai checking on his racket.
That's what he was about to do when he suddenly felt 4 pair of eyes looking right at him and Ryoma.
Looking at his surroundings he spots two girls the same age as me and Ryoma staring out from the school window.
The same a level above but this time it was an older looking student.
The fourth pair of eyes, well he didn't have to look around to know who it was. Well, more specifically who the supposed royalty was.
Kei' Sigh why can't she just look from the outside like a normal person, was there really a need to hide in a tree.'
(Echizen Residence)
Today Rinko surprising had a day off of work so she decided just to relax a bit and watch a few movies.
But just as she was about to sit she heard the door bell ring. Surprised she quickly opened her phone and looked through the camera.
Once she did she couldn't help but squeal in happiness as she dashed barefoot to the door outside.
The second she opened the gate she rushed to the person that was standing there and gave them a bear hug.
Rinko" It's soooooo good to see you again. When did you get here? Why didn't you tell me, I could have picked you up. You must be tired comin, comin." She said while dragging said person in.
???" Thank you, mistress, I just arrived today, as I've just finished my business. Now I'll be here being the Echizen head maid. Once again."
Rinko" Is that so. Mhhh, I know Kai will definitely be happy to see you."
???" The young master is here."
Rinko" Yes he just arrived a few days ago to attend school with Ryoma."
???" Is that so." The Pearson said having a slight twich at her lips. Not one out of annoyance but nervousness.
(20 minutes later)
In the kitchen, while Rinko was cooking Roberta the head maid just looked on with an emotionless expression.
Her real name being Rosarita Cisneros. But she replaced it with Roberta. She was a pale-skinned young woman with waist-length dark purple hair that is tied in low pigtail braids with bangs hanging over her eyebrows, blue eyes and large, thick and overly round glasses. She also wore a long maid uniform and a cross necklace.
She was once known as Rosarita Cisneros who was a former F.A.R.C guerrilla trained as an assassin in Cuba and an internationally wanted criminal.
She has done things in her life that she immensely regrets and if not for her young master pulling her out the darkness, she dreads the even thought of him not being there when she needed him most.
After the day she was saved, not just physically, but mentally. She decided she would devote everything she had to him and his family.
Especially her young master. If he wanted her to kill. She would. Assassinate, no hesitation. Warm the bed, she would be his outlet.
And even tho she could be all those things to him. All he ever wanted from me was to smile and welcome him home. And for once in her dirty, hectic life, she knew what it felt like to be wanted, to be needed, to be worried about. But most of all...to be loved.
(Back to School)
Horio" But look at the people here, the regulars aren't even here and they're already so strong! Do you know, every month they have a ranking match. In every match, the player fight for the regular spot. This is one of the reasons why Seigaku is strong." Said Horio. As he kept on blabbering like it was his own achievements.
Ryoma sighed and walked away, before accidentally bumping into a 2nd year.
The second-year" Are you that 'amazing freshman." The 2nd year asked, trying to intimidate Ryoma who looked back nonchalantly.
Amazing freshman? Nope. It's him." Ryoma looked around, before pointing at Horio.
"Him huh, he does stand out with those colourful clothes." The 2nd year walked towards Horio.
Hotio" I would like to play a match with the captain. Who knows? Maybe I would be able to get 1 point." Horio scratched the back of his head before his eyes widened in shock when a 2nd year picked him up by his collar.
Just as the second year was just about to intimidate Horio, he felt weightless for a second before falling on his knees.
The second-year" Who the..." he was just about to turn around and bash whoever carded to hit him when he heard a shout from the first year.
Horio" The...there they are! The Seigaku regulars!" Horio exclaimed!
Tennis team" Good afternoon!" All the tennis members called out.
Oishi" To get the juniors to ease up, freshman are allowed to use the courts until the captain comes to give further orders. Fuji, let's have a game." Oishi said. While completely ignoring the scuffle of the second and first years.
Fuji" Sure." Fuji said.
Kai who had already walked away after kneeling the second year observed the regulars before coming up with a good assessment.
Kei' A bunch of pretty boys, who think there to cool for school. And why does that guy have a bandage? Does he think it makes him look cool? And why is the one at front hissing, what are you a snake.'
(School Rooftop)
???" Sigh, I know lady Miko told us to look out and observe the child. But he's done nothing but act like a child his age. Tho a bit more mature. I can see why the goddess let him in. He even went out of his way to clean up the shrine."
???" Sigh, that's all we can do for now little yuzu."
Yuzu" Sigh, alright, miss Kiri."
