#2 monster mother

What doesn't make any sense is why when I look at myself in a mirror instead of seeing myself I see a monster. That doesn't make any sense, is that monster a part of me or does it follow me everywhere I go that has a mirror? I decided to cover the mirror with a sheet out of fear. Before the sheet had completely covered the mirror I caught a glimpse of a monstrous figure. When I moved back frightened so did the figure. That had gotten me confused and even more scared. I told Katlyn (my friend) and she told me that I was probably just seeing things. Scared and confused I went to the bedroom Katlyn prepared for me and went to sleep. The next morning I woke up, walked to the bedroom door to open it but the door was locked. I don't get it, why is the door locked? I screamed for Katlyn but I didn't hear her come for me. Had she locked me in out of fear that I might be a monster too? I started banging on the door hoping that she will hear and let me out but still there was no response. Unable to get out through the door I walked up to the window opening it. I was on the second floor of her three story house. I grabbed my bag with everything I had and threw it out the window, then I looked around the room for anything I could use to climb out the window. Under the bed I found a rope, I thought to myself 'I can use this to climb down'. Tying the rope to the leg of the bed then throwing the other end out the window I climbed down grabbing my bag and getting in my car and driving far away from everyone to never come back. I drove all the way to Florida where nobody there knows me. What I was not expecting was how beautiful it was. There were palm trees everywhere, as well as seagulls, and a wonderful beach with a deep long sea view.
