Chapter 82: Chapter 77 : Blood And Water
The battle of brothers concluded over eight days ago , Gilyu was still unconscious . Lance was concerned but secretly glad because he could make love to Serena on the daily without worrying about privacy .
The days of calm sea were long gone , every day the choppy waves and heavy rains rocked the ship to an uncomfortable degree .
One after noon Lance and Serena were really getting into their session of pleasuring each other , the weather was particularly awful that day which made the ship rock from side to side . Oblivious to the dangers , the couple found it arrousing because of the uncertainty of where their hands would touch next .
An extremely large drift wood log was headed near the ship when suddenly a fierce wave sent it flying toward the ship .
The log was so gargantuate it rivalled the ship's size . It hit the ship and effectivly went right through , cutting the ship in half and narrowly missing Lance and Serena's bare skin .
The two finally got shocked out of there dopamine rush and realised what had just happened . Serena concentrated and tried to use her earth manipulation to dismantle the log while Lance dived of their part of the ship in search of Gilyu .
Lance had to be extremely cautious because the debris of the battered ship could impale his bare skin at any moment .
He frantically searched for gilyu because he knew that if he was unconscious he had limited time before he would drown .
After a few moments there was still no sign of Gilyu , Lance was below most of the sinking pieces of ship now . In the corner of his eye he spotted Gilyu who was sinking quickly into the dark depths of the ocean , Lance dived after him .
Serena concentrated on reconnecting the wooden components of the ship but she was worried incase she would crush the brothers in the process .
Lance grabbed Gilyu and tried to swim back up , but they were down so far Lance could barely even see the debris and broken parts of the ship , his breath was also running out . The cold water on his skin was almost unbareble and the weight of Gilyu didn't help things at all .
But despite that Lance pushed through and swam as hard as he could . At the same time Serena tried to put the ship back togethor and actually had some success . The cabins got some what reformed although they were distorted and destroyed .
The new distorted version of the ship Serena had manifested resurfaced and Lance swam toward what used to be the kitchen .
The bottom of the ship was still reconnecting which gave the brothers a small window of time to get through the gap to the kitchen .
Lance pulled himself up fine and hoisted Gilyu too but the bottom of the ship fully reformed as Lance was getting his brother out of the water . The wood caught Gilyu's arm and there was no way to free it .
The only way was to pull him until the arm came out of the socket . Lance was apaulled by the grewsomeness of the only solution but he had no other options .
Like an animal in chains tugging to break free Lance yanked his brothers arm again and again until eventually the flesh began to tear , Lance gritted his teeth and looked away .
' Come on ' He yelled desperately in anger and sadness until his brothers arm started to rip and eventually fully seperate .
Torn legimants , muscle fiber and blood exploded out of the arm socket as Lance fell on his back with him he pulled so hard .
The boat was a soggy wreck , it could barely even be called a boat , there were many leaks , cracks and uneven areas that it began to sink once again .
Lance rushed to the top deck were Serena stood with his soken and bloody brother over his shoulder .
' Serena ! What the fuck are you doing ! ' Lance screamed at her while she stood proud at the top of the abomination of a ship she had just created .
' Oh I don't know , maybe saving you and your brother's asses ! ' She hissed in return .
' So what now huh ? This thing will be on the sea floor in half an hour !? ' Lance asked despairingly .
' I'm working it out . ' She replied whilst grabbing her hair and pulling it with frustration .
The ship sunk even further , more than half of it was submerged , the ocean , was a larger threat than any warrior or king .
