Chapter 75: Chapter 70 : Departure
' So you have defeated my daughter ' Asserted Kevin as he rose from his chair and made his way down to the arena .
' Which one is your daughter ?! ' Gilyu asked whilst being surprised .
' Astra is my daughter . Can't you see the resemblance . ' Kevin answered as he pulled off the hood that usually covered his hair and stood up straight revealing a hulking man of a large stature .
His long white hair was glistening in the sun light , he had many wrinkles on his face and a scar on the top right corner of his forehead .
' So since we won what do we get ? ' Gilyu asked .
' Well usually it is a duo of a boy and a girl so they get a seremonial marriage as a prize but since we are a trio I guess we just get money . ' Explained Lance .
' You see my daughter doesn't like men , that woman Jackie and her are together and just saying that outloud makes me feel sick , I have been ashamed of Astra since I first found out but this was her chance to redeem herself in the tournament , but she lost to yous which is an even bigger insult hahaha . ' Chuckled Kevin .
' That is a little harsh don't you think ? And what are you saying about losing to us is an insult , you are a nasty old man ! ' Gilyu shouted .
' Well since I've told you that and Dwayne is likely not going to make it , I will be the new leader of the earth islands , keeping yous around will be problematic so it looks like I'll have to take care of yous here . ' Kevin sinisterly grinned .
' No ! You can't mean my father isn't going to make it he'll be fine I know he will and also me and Ruby will become Queen before you can be in power . ' Serena argued .
' Also if you kill all of us infront of this audience no one will want you as their leader and rebellions will occur . ' Lance interrupted .
' Shut your mouths ! ' Kevin screeched as he lunged at Serena with a large metal rod with bones on the end of it .
He swung the rod and stabbed through Serena's hips .
' Ahhhh ' She moaned as she fell to the sand with blood pumping out of her extremely quickly .
' Damn you ! ' Lance bellowed as he gathered lightning around himself and started a great wind that swirled sand around the arena .
' I....I...I never knew that the Prince was this powerful , now I know why Dwayne wanted him to marry into the Earth bloodline . ' Kevin quivered as he backed way from Lance's fury .
' Ahhhh ! ' Lance screamed as he shot himself at Kevin .
He was so incredibly close to hitting Kevin with a lightning strike as large as a house but a member of the audience through a spear at him .
It pierced through his lower torso and came through the other side .
As the wind went down and the sand followed he couldn't even speak all he could do was shed tears from his eyes as he nearly choked on the blood coming out of his mouth .
' Boo boo boo boo boo . ' The crowd chanted because from their eyes a foreigner was attacking a noble .
Gilyu was in shock and was getting stared down by Kevin from the opposite corner of the arena .
All hope seemed lost but from the distance you could hear a battle cry .
It was Dwayne he came busting through the walls of the fighting arena all guns blazing .
He ran straight toward Kevin and shoulder him into the wall .
He then proceeded to convert the sand into a giant boulder and then he threw it with both hands at Kevin .
The fight ended with Kevin as nothing more than a pile of mushy blood and guts .
' Are you kids ok ? ' Dwayne weezed as he tried to regain his breath .
-- 1 Week Later --
' My wound has nearly healed ' Serena told Gilyu as she got up from her bed in the infirmary .
' Yeah mine too , I guess both of our wounds heal faster because we have elemental blood . ' Lance asserted .
' Yeah , remember that time when we fought Johnson with Alhan , you got hurt pretty badly but you came back quickly . ' Gilyu reminded him .
' Who's Alhan ? ' Asked Serena .
' It's a long story , come to think of it I wander what Alhan is doing now . ' Lance replied .
' Lance before I came here , I went through lightning country and got deemed to be a traitor by Okriko aswell , but before that the last time I saw Alhan was at the flame kingdom , King Zyar gave him a ship to travel across the sea to find Rogue . ' Gilyu explained .
' What really ? ' Lance asked shockingly .
' I have no clue who any of these people are . ' Piped up Serena .
' Well if that is the case then we had better try to find both of them . ' Lance told Gilyu .
' Agreed . ' Responded Gilyu .
' Do you think Dwayne will give us a ship Serena ? ' Enquired Lance .
' Yes , I mean I don't see why not but like , I thought yous would stick around longer . ' Replied Serena .
' Why don't you come with us ? ' Proposed Lance .
' What really you would have me ? ' She asked .
' Yeah of course , just the 3 of us on a voyage across the world . ' Lance told her .
' Well I mean I have never left the earth islands , so yeah I guess I would like to see the world . ' She smiled .
' Then that settles it then , we will all go together . ' Announced Gilyu .
