Chapter 69: Chapter 65 : The Rock Trials
A loud horn was blown , Serena and Lance were both confused . ' I haven't heard that horn blown since I was a child , it was when invaders arrived on the beach , so this can't be good . ' Serena explained as they both started running down the street .
No one was around , everyone was at the beach waiting for the rock trials to begin . Dwayne and his loyal disciples were still under rubble in the hall of earth .
Gilyu was still surging with lightning , he had left the hall and was descending upon the beach werr the rock trials were being held .
Lance saw Gilyu heading there and started running to try and intercept him .
Lance climbed onto a roof top and scrambled across the slates , flinging them off the building 1 by 1 .
' Gilyu ! ' He cried ' Stop it ! '
Gilyu looked at him and came out of his rage .
' Brother why did you come here , this place is for people who have no honour and no loyalty . " Gilyu asked him .
' If I'm not mistaken we have both forsaken our country , so don't give me shit about loyalty . This place isn't the most honourbalr but atleast they are honest here , if they say the will do something they do it . ' Lance explained .
' You do have a point but I wont let my brother be pulled into another country's culture . Come on we are going back to find Alhan and Rogue . ' Gilyu pleaded as he grabbed Lance by his brown coat .
' Listen I don't really know what you are talking about , but if me and Lance win the rock trials we will have enough money to buy our own ship .
' Gilyu this is the only way please brother . ' Lancd begged .
' Alright but if this earth wench makes one false move I will strike here with a million volts of lightning . ' Gilyu warned .
' Then you better hope we win . ' Serena replied .
' Look there he is ! ' A man yelled as guards charged toward Gilyu .
They got closer and Gilyu ran at them , knocking them all of their feet .
' I Kevin as advisor of earth lord Dwayne charge you with murder and destruction of the hall of earth ! ' The man yelled .
' Kevin , look he's Lance's brother , please let us go . '
Serena once again pleaded .
' No , since Lord Dwayne has been physically injured I am now passing judgement , the convicted's fate will be decided by who ever wins the trial ! ' Kevin announced as what was left of his hair flapped about in the wind .
