Chapter 65: Chapter 61 : Princess Serena
' And one last thing before you go Lance . ' Dwayne remembered quickly just before Lance was about to exit the room .
' Yes sir ? ' Lance replied as he turned around and looked at Dwayne .
' This is my daughter . ' Dwayne said a woman with long brown hair and deep chocolate brown eyes entered the room from a door behind Dwayne's throne .

' Oh my...god . ' Lance thought to himself as he was utterly dazzled at the sight of the princess .
' Serena , this is Lance , former ruler of lightning country , but now he is one of us and he will be no longer referred to as a prince , understood ? ' Dwaynr made sure to tell her .
' Hi , my name is Serena , nice to meet ya ! ' She greeted as she walked a little further toward Lance .
' H....hi I am....Lance.... ' He replied hesitantly .
He tripped over his words and couldn't think straight , he had never been so in love in all his life .
' Well I will let you two get to know each other . ' Dwayne declared smugly .
' Alright dad , bye . ' Serena quickly muttered as she took Lance by the hand and ran out the door .
' You did give that boy alot of hope didn't ye , say whats yer plan for hem anyway ? . ' An old man in the corner asked Dwayne .
' Hahahaha well I wasn't lying , I will let him live here and it's obvious he has eyes for my daughter and once they marry there will be royal lightning blood in the family . That is if he can stick her . ' Dwayne replied .
Mean while in the village outside Dwayne's Castle of rocks .
' So Lance , tell me a little more about yourself . ' Serena excitedly asked as she kicked her legs of the side of the stone gray water fountain her and Lance were sitting on .
' Well um.... growing up in the capital had it's privileges , I recieved high born training and was able to harness lightnunf by age 8 , my father was strict , he was bitter , I hated him , he let lions chase me and my brother to make us run faster but in the end it made us into who we are today , I never really thanked him all he got from me were insults and ungratefullness . ' Lance reflected .
' My god , that is really sad . ' The princess replied .
' Sorry I just told you my life story , you probably didn't want to hear all of that . ' Lance said as he began laughing to lighten the mood .
The princess quickly embraced Lance by putting her arms around him and hugging into his neck .
Lance was incredibly surprised and didn't know what to do .
' Anyone who has been through a rough child hood deserves to be cared for as an adult . ' She told him as tears appeared in her eyes .
Lance was in complete shock now , Serena's warm body was pressing up against him and he didn't know what to do .
He decided to embrace her back and let her warm kind personality connect with him .
' Bahahahaha ! ' Serena cackled as she pulled away from him and pointed at him .
All of the villagers near by began chickling too .
' You really thought I was being serious there ? Ahahaha ! ' Serena yelled as Lance quickly enterprated that he had been played .
' So what if you had a bad childhood , man up and grow a pair . ' She shouted outloud .
All the villagers were watching and Lance had never felt more embarrassed in his life .
' Hey look isn't that the fallen prince's brother ? ' A kid said as he pointed to Gilyu in the middle of thr desert .
' Yeah he used to rule with him though . ' Another kid with long brown spiky hair and a few teeth missing replied .
' Then he is a traitor , stone him , stone him ! ' The kid yelled as he , his friend and another boy began picking up stones and chucking them at Gilyu .
Gilyu had been walking through the deserts of lightning coutnry for days now and was almost ready to collapse .
Gilyu caught the stones .
' We need to tell the king that he is here , he will throw him in a dungeon ahaha ! ' The kid concluded as he and his little gang of friends began sprinting back towards the capital .
' Wait if they are going to tell Okriko , this mustn't be too far from the capital , I better get there first though and I wander why they think I'm traitor .... wait what has Lance done ? ' Gilyu despaired at the realisation that Lance has committed a crime .
He started running after the kids in the blistering heat as the sun began to set .
