Chapter 64: Chapter 60 : The Earth Islands
' You may all now exit the boat . ' A man announced through a megaphone as large amounts of people started bumping into each other in a frantic race to get off the old gray ship .
Lance wasn't dumb , he knew if he let the people clear , exiting the ship would not be difficult .
' Have a good trip lightning prince . ' A cloaked man said in a sinister tone as he walked up beside Lance and then hastily made a quick retreat into the crowd .
Lance panicked at the thought of someone knowing he was there , but he maintained his calm and collected himself as he existed the ship and walked on to the dock of the earth islands .
' Hey , Alhan ? ' Gilyu yelled as his voice echoed through the house .
' I'm up here Gilyu ! ' Alhan shouted back from a place hugher up than the second floor .
' What the hell , where is he ? ' Gilyu said to himself as he began running up the stairs .
He got to the top and saw another set of steps that looked like they led into an attic .
' What are you doing up here Alhan..... ahhhhh ! ' Gilyu yelled as he fell down the steps onto his back at the sight of Alhan dressed in large spiky fire kingdom armour .
' Awwwww ! That hurt , why would you scare me like that Alhan ? ' Gilyu asked as he got upband started rubbing his back .
' Hahahahahahaha . I really got you didn't I , hahahaha . ' Alhan chuckled .
' I'm glad that me falling is so hilarious ! ' Gilyu frustratedly replied .
' Oh come on , you are a highly trained and conditioned warrior of lightning country , I'm sure falling down done steps won't kill you . ' Alhan declared as he took of what looked to be a bronze dragon helmet .
' Any way , what's up ? ' Alhan quickly changed the subject as he swiftly jumped down .
' It's Rogue , he's finished building his boat now he has left the island , he is on a voyage to that mysterious land . ' Gilyu explained .
' What !? Why the hell would you let him leave ? ' Alhan demanded .
' He seemed so certain that he needed to go there , who was I to stop him ? ' Gilyu reasoned .
' Dammit , now we gotta go after him . ' Exasportsdely sighed Alhan .
' That might not be the best idea , that mysterious land is probably filled with all sorts of mystical creatures and besides my brother has been away for weeks now , I really am worried , perhaps it would be better if we go back to Elentos , find Lance and get a proper ship from the fire kingdom or lightning country . ' Gilyu concluded .
' Ahhhhh dammit why do things take to go this way and how the hell would we even get back to Elentos , Lance took the outrigger . ' Alhan despaired .
' We'll swim . ' Gilyu replied .
' My father used to tell me stories about how the 4 elemental nations ruled Elentos , but 1000's of years ago a meteor crashed and separated the earth islands from the main land . ' Lance thought to himslf as he walked towards the earth island customs .
' Dammit , I forgot about customs , if they find out about me being the fallen lightning prince who fled his country , they very well could take me right back to Elentos . ' Lance realized as he started walking into the trees beside the path .
' Hey hey , where you going ! ' An earth guard from customs yelled as he started sprinting after Lance .
' Dammit ! ' Lance yelled as he started running to .
The guard quickly gained back the ground and were about to grab Lance , but just as the guard went to grab him by the back of his brown cloak , he generated lightning and shot himself right over all of the customs .
He landed right in the middle of a fountain in the middle of a little earth town .
' Dammit ! I'm defiantly getting deported now ! ' He thought to himself as he regained his breath .
' You're coming with us . ' A guard said as he and around 20 other guards arrived behind him .
' I am sorry to tell you ....but Lance has deserted lightning country and fled the border . ' King Zyar told Alham and Gilyu as they had just arrived at the fire kingdom from their long swim from their island .
' Well then do you at least have another ship so we can follow Rogue ? ' Alhan asked .
' Yes we do have another ship but following Rogue may not be the best idea , what he has to do in that mysterious land , he believes he has to do it himself and if you follow him there he might get agitated or even lash out at you . ' King Zyar replied .
' But I heard the voice too , if I wasn't so care free and relaxed about this I could have convinced Rogue to let me go with him . And if I got over there maybe I could even find my parents . I am such a fool , I just let a chance to find my parents slip ! ' Alhan frustradedly thought to himself .
' We'll take the ship , I am sure I can work things out with Rogue once we get there . ' Alhan replied after putting some thought into what he would say .
' Alright if you insist . ' King Zyar replied .
' Hold on a minute , who says I am in to go and look for Rogue , if the news about Lance is true then we have to go and search for him ! ' Gilyu interrupted .
' No , I am sure Lance is fine and we'll worry about finding him after we find Rogue . ' Alhan hastily replied .
' Screw you and Rogue ! I am going to look for my brother ! ' Gilyu yelled back as he stormed off out of the fire kingdom's throne room .
' So be it , I will look for Rogue myself . ' Alhan told King Zyar .
' So you are the fallen prince ? ' A tall muscular bald guy asked as he raised his right eye brow .
' Yes , yes I am sir . ' Lance replied as he bowed to the man .
' Hahahaha , well then I guess you can stay here and live in my country as long as you never cause any trouble or hurt anyone . ' The bald man chuckled .
' What , are you serious ? I can live here ? ' Lancebasked as he was flustered from hearing the bald man say that he could stay .
' Yup , in the earth islands we believe everyone deserves a second chance , we have no bowing to leaders , no jobs and most of all we are aloud to do absolutely anything we want except anything that causes harm to our people , the only reason we have these guards around at customs is because we don't want anyone disturbing our peace . My name is Dwayne and I am the leader of the earth islands only you don't have to treat me like a ruler , as long as you respect me and don't over step your boundary , you will do just fine here . ' Dwayne explained .
' Thank you so much Dwayne , I will do my utmost to keep the peace and preserve the wellbeing of your people . ' Lance replied .
