Chapter 37: Chapter 35 : I Have To Go Alone
' Did we beat him ? ' Gilyu panted as he was out of breath .
' Yeah I think we did . ' Lqnce said as he collapsed to his knees .
' Bro , are you ok ! ' Gilyu screamed as he frantically ran over to Lance .
' I'm fine , I just over did it . ' Lance explained
' What about Alhan ? ' Lance asked Gilyu .
' Good question , I need to check to see if he is ok . ' Gilyu replied .
' Alright let's go . ' Lance said as he got up and coughed a little blood .
' You are in no condition to walk , let me help you . ' Gilyu said as he got Lance's arm and put it around his shoulder and they both walked towards Alhan .
' That armour you wear really is heavy huh ? ' Gikyu asked as he was surprised at the weight of Lance's armour .
' Yeah , it's made out of Valkyrie steel , which is apparently completely foreign to this continent . ' Lance explained .
' Alhan are you all right ? ' Gilyu yelled as they started to speed up their walk toward him .
His body was immensely injured and he had numerous broken bones and stab wounds from the debris and rubble .
' Come on Alhan , wake up ! ' Gilyu said as he shook Alhan to try and wake him up .
But just as Gilyu was holding him a heat began to resonate of Alhan's body , it was his serpent power , the all too familiar green aura surrounded him and began to heal his wounds .
Gilyu eventually had to drop him he got that hot .
' Who.....who are you ? ' Alhan asked as he was still hazy from just waking up .
' You're back ! ' Gilyu excitedly said as he picked up Alhan and then set him back down quickly because he was still quite warm .
Gilyu then started excitedly jumping up and down after he set Alhan down .
' I remember ..... everything . ' Alhan said as tears rolled down his face .
' I remember , my parents were forced out of my home 11 years ago , I remember embarking on this journey to find my parents and besting that guy Kieth , I remember meeting Okriko and you 2 , and the last thing I remember was getting stomped on by that giant guy , Johnson I believe his name was . ' Alhan said as he picked himself up from the dirt and wiped away his tears .
' I will find my parents ! ' He yelled as he punched the air in front of him .
' I'm glad you remember everything , but you never told us about your parents being forced out 11 years ago . ' Gilyu replied .
' Yes , that is precisely why I must now go on my own journey , you have been great friends to me over this past week , even though I am going by myself , I would like the both of you to keep going south to because there is much more to this world than lighting country , take it from me , up until 18 days ago I had never left my valley ahahahaha . ' Alhan encouraged in his new positive way of seeing life .
