Chapter 26: Chapter 25 : Different Paths
' Is there something going on with him ? ' Whispered Gilyu to Lance . ' Yes but shoosh . ' Lance whispered back . ' Is there something you want to say to me ? ' Alhan asked as he looked over his shoulder to see the 2 whispering . ' Nothing important Alhan , we were just talking about how different it is to br out side of lightning country . ' Lance quickly thought of on the spot .
They walked for 6 miles until they eventually came to a fork in the road . ' We got right . ' Lance said . ' No left ! ' Alhan rudely abrupted . ' Left takes you toward the theiving town of Threatsville . ' Lance yelled over the top of Alhan . ' Then it looks like we will have to split up . ' Alhan concurred . ' Ain't no way we left our country with you just so we would have to hike 8 mile back there . ' Lance upsettlingly shouted . ' How about this , you go your route and I go through Threatsville , both routes lead to fire country which is 4.5 miles from here , we meet up 1 week from now . The only reason I am doing this is because I want to search every where possible to know where my family is . ' Alhan reasoned . ' Fair enough Alhan , but if you aren't there in a week we are going back to Lightning country . Lance ended the discussion with . ' Alright then I'll see you on the other side . ' Alhan smirked as he walked up the dusty , dirty path .
