Chapter 16: Chapter 16 : The Lightning Capital
Alhan walked in to the capital , there were people every where , there was a man performing a show of him using lightining , there was kids doing target practice lighting blasts . It all seemed very strange . ' What were the lighting games you were talking about earlier . ' Alhan asked . ' The lightning games is an annual tournament were all the top lighting users and a few people from out side lightning country compete for a grand prize and if someone from outside lightning country wins they gain the allegiance of this kingdom to help them in any battle we can assist in . ' Okriko replied .
' Am I aloud to compete in this tournament ? ' Asked Alhan . ' Depends do you have any special abilities and can you fight ? ' Answered Okriko .
' Yes , I can fight . ' Alhan said whilst grinning . ' Great then . ' Okriko replied . ' Where do I sign up ? ' Alhan asked . ' Right over here . ' Okiko said as he walked toward a cue of people who were signing up . ' So how strong are the people who can use lightning ? ' Alhan asked . ' Extremely strong . ' Okriko replied . ' I am probably one of the weakest but I am still fast enough to move at the speed of sound . ' Okriko said whilst laughing slightly .
' How many competitors will there be ? ' Alhan asked . ' Varies from year to year in proliminaries there can be between 16 and 24 but in the semi finals theres always 8 . ' Okriko answered .
' So since the tournament is tomorrow am I aloud to get my own facilities and train and rest up ? ' Alhan asked . ' I mean you could ut don't get a head of yourself that's gonna cost a few 100 Rangos to stay in a hostel hear and if you want to train where ? If you want a basic dojo you can hire it for 50 Rangos and hour but if you want to train at the place where the high level lightning users train in the royal palace that's gonna cost 5000 Rangos for one day because you usually have to hand picked to even get into that room . ' Okriko explained .
' Alright get me a hostel and the training at the lightning power core ' Alhan said whilst grinning . ' Did you hear me right on how expensive that is ? ' Okriko said as he was stunned by Alhan's goal to purchase these 2 facilities . ' Nah it's ok I have 7765 Rangos on me . ' Alhan said whilst pulling them out of his back pack . ' Don't just pull them out your gonna get mugged ! ' Okriko warned Alhan whilst his jaw dropped .
' I won these in the last tournament I competed in the same way I won Ryu , my pet dragon . ' Explained Alhan . ' Then you must have some fighting potential . ' Okriko said as they walked further towards the palace where Alhan would be training and staying .
