Chapter 4: Chapter 4 : Surprises and Mysteries
The announcer awarded Alhan the grand prize of 10,000 Rangos and the surprise reward which was covered by a gray sheet .
Alhan was to do the honours of unveiling the mystery gift .
As he pulled of the sheet , it revealed a young juvenile dragon who had dark red , orange and brown scales .
He had bright amber yellow eyes and dark red wings .
He was jumping around his cage and was even so eager to get out he was breathing sparks , the announcer told Alhan that he was 8 weeks old and had not been named yet and his name was completely up to Alhan .
So Alhan said that his name would be Ryu .
The audience applauded Alhan as he walked out with his pet dragon Ryu .
Now that Alhan was heading home he stopped at the saddle shop to purchase a new saddle for Ryu .
Alhan knew that when Ryu grew up he could ride him all over the continent .
Alhan felt a huge wave of anxiety come over him as he had flashbacks of himself being held hostage when he was 8 years old , his house was burning and the man who was holding him hostage's face was covered , he wore a red scarf around his face and goggles over his eyes , these goggles were dusty from the smoke that was coming from the blaze his house was in .
Alhan fought through these emotions of pain and sorrow as he walked on back to his house .
