Chapter 1:
"Run!"
Is what crossed my mind as I made my way
past the buildings surrounding me.
My Chest stinging with pain as every heavy breath I take gets harder to make.
Am I safe yet?
I fled into an alleyway(in broad daylight) in-between a tavern and what seemed to be a sort of a cross between a bank and a library.
Weird places to be right next to each other. Wait no time for that!
I placed my hand upon the old jagged wooden wall that was plastered to the tavern.
What was I running from you may ask? Was it an ogre? Nastier. Was it a demon? Worse. Was it a witch? You can call her that but she'll kill you just like she's gonna kill me.
Who is she?
"THERE YOU ARE!"WHY DID YOU BREAK UP WITH ME!"
"PREPARE TO DIE!"
"I'm running from my ex and I'm gonna have to kick it in overdrive."
My eyes start to glow a bold shade of blue.
Time starts to slow down for me.
The woman who was once yelling looks frozen.
Her lips curving into a snarl.
"Well, time to go."
I run past my ex and just keep running as the spell does have a limit(A time limit lol)
As I run the tavern and bank-library grow smaller as I make my way home.
