Chapter 17: Sampo
New hobby
Marian's POV
Naka balik na kami sa hotel ngayon. We're packing our clothes para maka alis na. I really miss this place sana makabalik ako dito with my loved ones. Sana nga.
"Na packed mo na ba lahat ng damit mo Marian?" He asked while putting his clothes into a holdall.
I nodded at him. "Yup, tapos na ako." Sagot ko.
Tumango naman siya. "Good." Tipid niyang sagot.
Abala kasi siya sa pag iimpake ng mga damit niya. I took a glanced at him. He's only wearing sando na bakat na bakat ang mga pandesal niya. This man is quite handsome he looks like a Greek god warrior. His existence was so really stunning.
Napansin niya namang palihim akong tumitingin sa kaniya. "Just get your phone and took a picture of it para matitigan mo ng matagal." He chuckled.
Umiwas ako ng tingin. "Hindi no!" I defended.
"Ang defensive mo naman." Pang-aasar niya.
Inirapan ko siya sabay kuha sa purse ko. I lifted my holdall and I put it on the ground then I hold it.
Tumingin ako sa gawi niya. "Mauna na ako sa labas." Sabi ko sabay flipped hair.
Pagkalabas ko sinalubong ako ni Stephen. "What's up?" He uttered.
"It's good." I replied undesirably.
He goes to me. "Why? What's wrong?" He asked instantly.
I just smiled at him. "Nothing." I replied.
I heard him sigh. "Whatever you are facing now. I'm just here to comfort you." He smiled at me.
I just smiled at him back. "Thank you Stephen." I said in grimace.
Naghintay lang kami sa lobby ng ilang minuto and a short time later I saw him walking through us. Pumunta siya sa gawi namin and he greeted me. He wear his black shades that making him look more handsome.
"So pano? Tara na?" He asked.
We're just nodded at him.
Tumango naman siya. "Okay." Sabay lakad niya palabas ng hotel.
Naiwan kaming dalawa dito ni Stephen, nakatunganga. Like anong nangyari sa kaniya? There's something new in him.
"What's happened to him?" He asked curiously.
I just shragged at him. We're in turmoil about his actions. Sabay kaming naglakad palabas ng hotel ni Stephen still we do not know what happened to him. He's acting so weird.
Pagkalabas namin nakita namin siyang naka crossed arms at naka sandig sa corvette niya. He may look hot but he makes me feel cringed at him. Stephen greeted him except me I just entered inside on his corvette hindi ko rin siya dinapuan ng tingin.
I heard them conversing some stuff but I just ignored it. Kinuha ko 'yung telepono ko sabay bukas sa social media ko. I saw my notifications flooded in reacts and comments. I tap it and I saw Jeorge commented on my photo.

Gusto kong ngumiti pero naalala ko ang panlolokong ginawa niya sa akin. It's still flashing into my brain how did he cheated on me. I closed my phone and I keep it on my purse. I tried to closed my eyes but still they didn't cooperate. Ah! Why should I be scared on him hindi naman siya diyos para katakutan ko. Inayos ko ang sarili ko sabay tingin sa bintana ako lang kasi mag-isa dito sa likuran. Magkatabi kasi sila Bryce at Stephen.
I heard them laughed at each other. "Yeah, It's sounds crazy bro but I really did that. All passengers got startled and wadering because they were expecting the ship was in fire. Sounds crazy, right?" Rinig kong sabi ni Stephen.
I heard Bryce chuckled at him. "You're cool bro. I didn't expect you would do that but still it's quite alarming because what if some of them jumped to the sea but only to found out it's just a false alarm. But still it's cool." Sagot ni Bryce.
"You know what? You're right. It's quite alarming. Indeed alarming bro. If the fire alam didn't stop echoing, I assured many of passengers will dumped on the shore." Stephen had said.
Nag-usap lang sila ni Bryce ng kung ano-ano hanggang sa umabot sila sa akin.
"You Marian, have you fall to someone you don't know if you're willing to give your heart to him?" He asked seriously.
I snooted at him. "Apparently I haven't but I don't know if this feeling I feel right now is usual or unusual for me because everytime I see his celestial features I got clattered. So, maybe I like him already." I replied.
He gave a glanced to Bryce. Parang may dapat akong malaman.
Bumaling ulit si Stephen sa akin. "What if he confess his feelings for you. Would you accept him or not?" He asked seriously again.
Teka! Parang Q and A na 'to ah! Miss Universe lang ang peg.
I faced him. "Ahm...for me if he confessed his feelings for me. I would accept it as appreciation because to all girls around the world. He chose me than them." I responded.
Tumango naman si Stephen sabay kindat kay Bryce. May something talaga sa kanila eh! May sekreto silang dapat 'di ko malaman.
"Last question for you Marian." He uttered.
"What is it?" I asked eagerly.
"If someone you'd love is near at you. What would you do?" He asked eagerly.
I gave him a glanced then I faced him. "I will remained of who I become now. If I'm irresistible and insensitive then I stick to it until he fight his love for me." I replied.
I saw Stephen nodded at me. He even gave a winked to Bryce. May kakaiba sa kanila eh para bang may tinatago sila sa 'kin. I'm trying to read his eyes but I found empty at it. Blangko 'yung ekspresyon niya he can able to hide his emotions, ha.
Sa tagal ng biyahe nakatulog ako hindi ko nga namalayan na nasa tapat kami ng isang bahay. The manor is quite huge and full of adornments.
I roamed my eyes. "Nasaan tayo? 'Di naman namin 'to bahay ah." I asked in turmoil.
"Nandito tayo sa tapat ng bahay namin." He intruded.
Bumaba sila ni Stephen kaya bumaba na lang din ako. Pagkababa ko nahagip ng mga mata ko ang isang batang babae. She's pretty.
Pumunta si Bryce sa gawi ng bata. "Marian, Stephen. This is Trixie my younger sister." He introduced.
We just nodded at him. "Hi Trixie." I greeted.
I saw her smile widely at me. "Hello ate..." He waited my response.
"Marian. I'm your ate Marian if you want to." I replied.
Nagulat ako ng bigla siyang tumakbo sa gawi ko sabay hug sa akin. Awh, mah heart. I hugged her back.
"Ate I feel you're nice. I hope so." She uttered.
I chuckled. "Oo naman. I can be your ate, forever." I replied.
Pagkatapos naming mag-usap ng kapatid ni Bryce pumasok na kami sa loob ng bahay nila. Grabe ang bait ng kapatid niya. Umupo kami ni Stephen sa couch nila. I saw a woman I think she's mid 50's na but she look so gorgeous as well. Pumunta ang babae sa gawi ko.
"Hija ito oh." Sabay bigay sa binake niyang cup cake.
I took it and taste. My mouth widened when I taste her cup cake.
"I baked that for you." She added.
I gave her a smile. "Thank you po tita." I said.
Ngumiti lang siya sa akin. "Magsabi ka lang kung gusto mo pa ah." She said in grimace.
I nodded at her. "Sige po, by the way tita I really want to learn how to bake. " I uttered.
I saw her amused. "Really? Sige tuturuan kita mamaya." She replied.
Bumalik siya sa kitchen. Naghintay lang ako kay Bryce kasi sabi niya may kukunin lang daw siya sa kwarto niya. Maya-maya bumalik ang mama niya at may dalang isang apron.
"Hija here. Isuot mo 'yan." She said in excitement.
Sinuot ko naman ito at sabay naming tinungo ang kitchen. Pagkapasok namin sa kitchen agad naming inumpisahan ang pag bake. Madali lang naman ang sinasabi niya. Sinunod ko naman ito at hanggang sa naka gawa kami ng cake.
"Great hija. Ang dali mong matuto. No wonder." Sabi niya.
May gusto siyang sabihin pero pinipigilan niya. There's something in her that I need to know.
"By the way hija, free ka ba next week?" Tanong niya.
I nodded at her. "Opo, bakit po?" I asked her.
"Great. Wala lang gusto ko lang kasama kang mag bake." She said.
I just nodded at her. "Ako din po." I replied.
Ngumiti lang siya sa akin. Simula no'n I marked my new hobby and that is baking. I thought it's too hard for me to learn that but I was wrong instead I exceedingly learn it well. Noon I'm searching a person can teach me how to bake but I was stuck searching all the time kaya tinigil ko na lang but now, I found the person can teach me how to bake and she did it well and I'm so grateful for her effort.
I found my new hobby and that is baking.
