Chapter 31: Chapter 30 : Family meeting.

Third person point of view

Luke was waiting for Leo who was not out of the closet yet. He glanced at his watch and decided to check on him. He walked in and saw Leo who was looking at the shirts. He was in a blue jeans and white t-shirt. Luke sighed and walked up to him. " What are you doing ? " Leo turned to Luke with a small pout. Luke found it so cute that he wanted to pinch his cheeks. But he knew Leo will kill him if he does that. Even though his hands were itching to just do it and take the risk, he controlled it. No one wants to die young, now do they ?

" I don't know what to wear ". Luke was dressed up already. He was in a light blue jeans and a burgundy color shirt. Luke wanted to help and get it done, so he started looking around too. He took out a shirt from his rack. It was a white and blue vertical stripes shirt. He put it in front of Leo. " Wear this ". Leo took it and was looking at it. " It is yours though ". " It is fine. It will match well with what you are wearing right now. Wear it ". Leo was still thinking. " Leo, come on. We are going to be late ".

Leo wore the shirt and started buttoning it. " See, I told you it will look good. And also everyone will know you are mine ". Leo looked at Luke and started unbuttoning it. " No, don't. Sorry. I am sorry. Fine. Now come ". Luke chuckled and walked out. Leo wanted to drive and so they were in Leo's car itself, on their way to Leo's house. Luke didn't object since it would be easier if Leo drove anyway.

Once they reached the house, Leo parked the car and then they walked towards the front door. Leo walked in first and Luke followed behind. Luke stopped at the door looking around. Leo took a few steps forward and he didn't find Luke beside him. So he turned around and saw him still at the door. He walked a few steps back and went back to where Luke was standing. " Come on. What are you waiting for ? " He took Luke along with him by his hand. Luke smiled as he walked along with Leo. Leo loosened his grip when they reached the dining area.

But Luke didn't and walked in together with his hand still in Leo's. Their parents smiled when they saw them. They had lunch with all of them speaking about various things. Once they were done, the elders were talking in the living room and Leo took Luke to his room. The furniture was still the same, but the room felt empty. " This is my room ". Leo thought that it was neat, looks like they were cleaning it regularly.

Luke walked around and thought Leo had good taste. The room had a pleasant feeling. " Nice ". Luke sat on the bed and was looking around the room. Leo watched as Luke was observing the room. He remembered that there were some paintings he left in one of the cabinets. He went to it to check on them. Luckily no one removed them from there and they were still there. Luke was looking around when he found a piece of cloth on the floor.

Beside a wall to a corner, it looked like it fell down there or something. Luke got up and went to take it out. When he walked closer, he saw that it felt like a frame. He took it out and removed the cloth and found a painting. He saw that and was surprised. He smiled as he observed it and turned to look at Leo who didn't notice this yet. " You paint very well ". Leo heard and looked up to see Luke holding a painting.

Shoot ! He forgot about this one. He went to Luke running, but Luke didn't let him take it. Leo tried pulling it, but Luke didn't let him. " Give it here ". " Tell me what this is and I will give it back ". " It is nothing. Give it ". " Tell me first ". " It is really nothing. Just give it here ". Luke was walking backward as he tried to move away from Leo. He didn't notice the bed and he slipped when his leg hit the bed. His knees buckled when they hit the edge of the bed which made Leo fall too. He fell along with Luke on to the bed. He was on top of Luke and stared at him wide eyes. Luke could only stare back at him.

Their faces were close. Leo pulled the painting and got up. He adjusted his dress and walked to the cabinet. Luke sat up and scratched his head awkwardly. But then putting these aside, he wondered about the painting. He liked it. But it looked like Leo wasn't willing to speak of it, so he decided to let it be. They spent some time with their parents and then decided to leave. Leo has asked one of the butlers to bring the paintings to their home.

" Shall we go to a movie ? " Luke asked out of nowhere. " Why ? " " I want to watch one ". Leo thought for a second and nodded. " Okay. Let's go ". They informed their parents that they were going to leave and they told them to be safe. Leo drove to a theater nearby. Luke went to bring the tickets while Leo went for the snacks. They entered the theater and it looked like not many were there.

They sat in their seats and the movie started. Luke was still looking at the screen and chuckled watching the movie. His hand reached for the popcorn and he felt a cold touch. He turned to see that both of them put their hands while looking at the screen. Leo didn't notice it as he was looking at the screen too. He retreated his hand when he felt Luke's hand touch his. " You take first ". Luke shook his head. " That's fine but why is your hand so cold ? " Leo didn't know what to say. " What ? " Luke took Leo's hands in his and looked at him again. " See how cold they are ".

He started rubbing his hands on Leo's. He held his hands in between his and blew at it. " Is it warm now ? " Leo nodded. Luke interlocked his left hand fingers with Leo's right hand ones. " Let it be ". He smiled at Leo and turned to the screen again. Leo looked at their hands and then turned to the screen. Luke was still holding his hand while they were walking out. It was almost dinner time so they went to a restaurant nearby to have dinner. During their way back home Leo still insisted on driving even when Luke told he will. Luke couldn't say anything so he let it be. A good hubby listens to his wifey, right ?

Author note : Mini theater ahead. I guess it came out long this time.😂 Sorry for that but I found it really fun writing this. 🙈 Author's thought must not exceed 500 words. -_- So I am adding a few lines here.

The first line had my BR cackling like crazy. Hahaha!! I didn't meant it actually, I swear. In fact I didn't notice it until my BR pointed it out. Haha

Scared much of wifey, Mr. Luke ? Hehe.

And also we both really love Leo's reaction. It is priceless. Hahahaha!!!!

And the painting is the one Leo drew before and got teased by Jade. I am not sure if you guys remember but it is that one. I am not sure if you guys could guess it, so I decided to let you know. I thought it wasn't that clear in the chapter too, so I mentioned this.

Why are they getting more touchy these days? Not that I am complaining. Hehe.

Look at Luke, speaking about being a good husband. So full of himself. But not that I don't agree. Hehe. Rate them for that. If you ask me I would both of them full on full. Haha. My babies. My BR also told the same.

My BR said some R rated things for this chapter. Hahaha. We were laughing like crazy. I don't think I will mention them. Sorry for that. Haha !!

Mini theater :

BR : Hello. May I come in ?

Luke : Hey. Come in.

BR : What a sweet smile. (chuckles) It is suspicious because you asked me to come instead of someone else (raises eyebrow) What do you want ?

Luke : (scratching head with a smile) The movie date was nice.

BR : First things first, date ? So you named it that. Fine. So what now ?

Luke : I want to have more of those. Help me persuade your friend (author)

BR : You know very well that not everyone listens to me. (half sarcastic smile)

Luke : Why are you giving up so easily ? You need to try to know if you will succeed. Never give up !

BR : Those quotations will sound good to put in social media not in real life.

Luke : Come on. Please.

BR : (sighs) I am the president of your couple's fan-club. So if I get to see more I wouldn't object, would I ?

Luke : Thank you so much.( grins )

BR : But it is not easy. Should I try bribing ?

Luke : If you want to the next time not just my upper half, I will even reveal my lower half.

BR : (disgusted) Ewww. Gross. I am definitely not reading in case that happens. And no one will like it except Leo. (mutters the last sentence)

Luke : What ?

BR : Nothing. I will try but don't get our hopes high. See ya ! (leaves the room)

This sounds more like me than my BR. (face palm) Frankly speaking my BR is a really sweet and humble person, but I wanted to show the savage side, which is almost not there in that person. But I wanted to give it a shot. One thing is that 'see ya' at the end is so like my BR. I got inspiration for this in the last minute. So I decided to do it. Hope you guys like it.

Edit : My BR was happy to have an actual conversation with Luke. And was like it does sound like me too. So yeah.
